Why does everyone say RIP Chris Benoit when hes nothing more now then a murder and child killer?

Seriously, the guy is a murder and to top it all off, a child killer, he was a coward who took the cowards way out of his problems then killed himself. We're he alive he would be facing two 1st degree murder charges and be up for the death penalty.

Yet people say RIP to the man....because he was a good wrestler. Being a good wrestler dosen't change what the man turned out to be. I don't see people going around and saying RIP to other murders on death row and telling them they'll miss them.

Reguardless of how entertaining he is, don't people realize the man was deranged and killed himself and his family of the process of 2 or 3 days? And don't give me that roid rage crap, as roid rage doesn't last two to three days and makes you kill your wife one day while your son is in another room, then makes you the next day go into his room and kill your 7 year old son, then causes you to take your own life.

I don't care what he USED to be, he showed who he really was with those hidius acts.

Update:

oh to Eric M, nice try, I've been an avid wrestling fan for 20 years. I loved Chris in the ring, he was awesome and a treat to watch. I had considered myself lucky to meet him not only on one, but two occasions.

So don't try to assume things that aren't true. And don't give me the crap about family, chris wasn't your family, he was an entertainer you watched on television. You can love to watch the man, but you cant tell me you loved him like family. He played a fictional character that required a huge amount of skill and athleticism to perform, I give him credit for his professional career, but it dosen't change hes a murder, a child killer and a coward. He had problems with his life, so he ended those problems.

Were he alive, he would be in a trial pending he be put on death row. He's a criminal, a coward and a sick man. Nothing he did in his life can change those facts. Anything he may have done or accomplished is null and void after you take the life of your wife and your child

your right he is a killer and he was messed up in the head. I used to watch the wwe and he was one of my favorite guys to watch. Its terrible that someone who has fans all around the world and kids who look up to them could do something horrible like that.

Well, for one, it's not your concern. I find it despicable that he killed his own child, but the bottom line is it's not my business nor is it yours. He didn't kill your child, he didn't kill your wife. Therefore you have no personal interest in this. Of course you can judge his actions as being wrong, but your comments indicate personal offense, which is absurd.

RIP is something his fans are saying because he was important to them. As for his character, you don't know a damn thing about him. You don't know what he was thinking or feeling. It's pretty clear that he was not in his right mind, perhaps affected by steroids or painkillers, perhaps not. Either way, this man was not well. Anyone who places a Bible next to his family after murdering them is not exactly clear-headed. Ergo, your judgment of him as a cold-blooded killer is erroneous.

I'm certainly not some 'bleeding-heart liberal' or whatever term one uses, it's simply a matter of common sense. You are not in a position to decree whether a man deserves respect in death. He was respected for most of his life; he commits one very serious and disturbing act at the end of his life; others are scrambling to figure out what happened, what went wrong, and why he did what he did. But the respect for the man's abilities remain.

They do that for 2 reasons:

    1) They are separating his in-ring accomplishments from his personal life and,

    2) There is nothing conclusive as to whether he killed them or not. There are a whole lot of unanswered questions and things that point in a different direction.

People are mourning the loss of one of the greatest in ring performers this business has ever seen. In a lot of peoples' eyes the heinous things Benoit did outside of the ring will never change the phenomonal things he did inside it.

Because people respected who he was and what he stood for in the ring. You aren't a WWE fan, you don't know what it's like to love the man one minute, and have to deal with the fact that he's dead the next. How dare you jump on our cases for wishing he rest in peace. I bet if one of your family members murdered somebody, you'd still love them, and wish for the best, right? You don't know how long he's been around, and how he's touched all of our hearts. He was a fighter, and from what we understood, a great man.

Oh, the toxicology is released today - don't be the heroic doctor who tells us what he was or wasn't on. Obviously, you don't know him.

I only wish his wife and child will rest in peace. As for him, God will deal with him. Let's just leave it at that.
