I am a Christian, bought through the Blood of Jesus Christ, my Lord & Savior. I make no apologies, will not compromise, & it is without exception. I am a 57-year-old husband, and father of 3 sons. My wife and I have been pro-life missionaries to the unborn and their families for over 20 years each. Pro 24:10-12 10) If you falter in the time of trouble, your strength is small. 11) Rescue those who are being led away to death! Indeed, hold back those who are staggering to the slaughter! 12) If you say, "Behold, we didn't know this;" doesn't He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn't He know it? Shall He not render to every man according to his work?
Why have we heard so little about this from the main stream media?
After the way they were all over Duke University for the false rape allegations against those lacrosse players, why hasn't the so-called "main stream media" come out big on this?

21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAre you aware of this latest religious persecution?
I would want to check the church web site to find out what they actually put in the mail. However, this is still going on all over the world.
Thoughts and opinions. Keep them respectful please, even in disagreement.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHas exercise of our 1st Amendment rights come to this?
Here is a woman who is exercising her 1st Amendment right but, because she does not agree with these people, she is a prime target for verbal & physical assault.
Even if you disagree with her message, how can anybody justify assaulting a 69-year-old woman? Has it come to the point that she has no right to exercise the same freedoms that she, the militant protesters & we, are guaranteed through the U.S. Constitution?

Or would this be OK because it is for a cause that you believe in.
Seriously, what are the opinions of people on this board about this incident?

If this was a reverse case, where the father was Christian and the mother Islam, do you think the court would have still found in favor of the father?
As the article points out, the judge had no legal precedent for his decision.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoFor FORMER Liberals: What first set you free of your liberalism?
I was a staunch liberal until after Reagan's first election. When I stopped to listen to him, I saw that he truly loved this country and wanted what is best for it. Then, I watched as his policies gave our nation the chances to have exactly that.
That's why, when people ask me about such things, I refer to myself as a "recovering liberal."

2 AnswersOther - News & Events1 decade agoDo you think TNA & WWE blew it by not having Sting there for Flair?
I know he's with TNA but, surely, they could have worked SOMETHING out to get him there. If not as Sting, then he could have come as Steve Borden.
I think it was a missed opportunity for both companies.
7 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoHow many Christians are aware of this persecution?
A pastor who prays before city council meetings, a council of which he is part, is now forbidden to pray in Jesus name, due to the mythological separation of church and state.

http://www.mttu.com/Articles/Prolifer%20Rescuer%20...
This is ridiculous. There is a statute of limitations on misdemeanor charges, especially trespassing.
However, this is a small example of what pro-life Christians have dealt with for 30 + years.
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is the next thing that can be done to improve baseball?
With the steroid investigation digging up more names almost every day (like the cocaine investigations of the 1980s), what can be done to improve baseball & restore its competiveness?
I think there are some specifics that would help:
1. Remove the "rubber band" from the core of the ball - as much as steroids, this has led to the artificial rise in HR numbers. This could also revive other aspects, such as the hit & run, suicide squeeze, etc.
2. Return the mound to 15 in. in height - This would change the angle of the pitches (give more room for a breaking ball, for example), and lessen shoulder & elbow injuries because of the better angle.
3. Contract at least 2 teams - Would eliminate at least 50 players who wouldn't otherwise be in the majors. It would improve the quality of play.
Even if the called strike isn't restored to rule book levels, these other measures would result in a more balanced game & restore pitching to a more equal part of the game.
Opinions? Suggestions?

This is an example of how letting your child continue to live can be rewarded by God.
The MDs say this kind of thing all too often. And they appear to be proved wrong more often than not. Had the parents listened to the MDs, they would have one dead child and one live one.
