She seems perfectly healthy, there's obviously wrong with her, except one eye sticks out more than the other. Is this anything to worry about? She's my first snake and I don't know what to do.

I'm a writer, and I have a muse. Her name is Megan, and she doesn’t so much tell me what to write as gives me ideas and will discuss the plot with me. She knows more about my characters than I do and she won’t answer stupid questions. I know other writers have muses too, but they all seem to be female. Does anyone have a male muse?

My character accidentally injured herself. She's a cyborg and has a robotic tail with a blade at the end. She panicked and cut herself deeply with it. The cut healed, but left a large scar. She's angry at her doctor for not healing her properly and at herself for doing it in the first place. She's already stressed because lots of things are going on that she doesn't understand, she can never see her family and friends again and she doesn't know anyone where she is except an annoyingly kindly nurse. How could she react to this?

Does anyone know a way of doing your hair the same way as Abbey Clancy's in the SCD Halloween special?

OK, I'm 13, British, I'm perfectly ordinary and the only odd thing about me is that my birth date reads 111000 (11/10/00). Oh, and I have a spooky bad influence.

When I'm playing in a hockey/netball/whatever match in PE lessons at my school, if the other team is about to score, I say something like: "shoot, don't score". Every time this happens, they don't score. Never. It even works with "Pass, don't catch" and stuff. I only need to say this very quietly for it to apparently work. Is this some supernatural/magick thing, or am I putting them off by saying this?

PS. I do believe in supernatural stuff/magick/other dimensions/etc.

When I try to freewrite for story ideas, I end up writing some weird short story. Is this what I should get, or should I try and get something else? Here's an example:

I don't really know what's going on. I think I'm trapped. What's happening? Bats. They let the bats fly through the narrow corridor outside my cell every night. At twelve, I think. I have to stay in here. Stay in or die. Be safe, or die. I use "safe" in the lightest form (if anything in the darkness here can be called light), for none of us are safe. I hear them screaming. The shrieks of the bats draw their meaningless lives to an end. They shriek in unison, and the harsh cries resound around my cell. I call it a cell, but it's not locked. No door, see. Only an endless corridor outside which the bats fly down at midnight. Everywhere's midnight now. My watch reads one minute to midnight, anyway. I think it's stopped. Or it may just always be midnight here. Or one minute to, anyway. The screams. Blood. What blood? The bats eat him entirely. I see no blood. There is nothing. Ever. Who is "he", anyway? I don't know where I am. Who am I? Where are you? Who are you? Who am I? Who is it, who shrieks and dies every night at a minute to midnight? It's one minute to midnight. The torment will start soon. Soon So soon. Always watching. Who? Watching? Only the bats can see me now, or perhaps they can't? They haven't seen me yet. It's one minute to midnight. The bats fly past. Poor soul, an idiot will die tonight. The screams will ring out as they eat him. Ha! They will never find me. Never find me, never see me, never eat me. My screams ring out as they eat me.

It's one minute to midnight. Soon the torment will start again.

I'm going Goth, and my parents are fine with this. The only trouble is, we don't go clothes shopping often, and I really want to fiddle with my clothes to make them the way I want them. My mum doesn't seem to trust me, and refuses to give me permission to do it. Any help?

I'm planning to go Goth soon, but I've heard of all these hate crimes against Goths, for example, Sophie Lancaster. I live in South London, does anyone know about the hate-crime levels around here? Am I taking a risk, or just being over-cautious?

I've made a monster for a pasta, and I need a name for it.

It's a girl with pure white skin and long black hair. It has no eyes or mouth, but it has a nose. It wears a floral-print summer dress, and (other than it's head) it's a skeleton. It's like slender in that it turns up and drives you mad until you die. Names?

PS. I've tried things like Skelegirl and stuff, but that's a bit too much taken from Slender.

I have a recurring dream, and I'm curious as to if it means anything. Here goes:

I was holding my pet snake, and showing her to my nanny, who is very scared of snakes. Then, when I looked down at her, she had changed. She was a much darker colour, and male (i don't know how i knew this). I took him up to the vivarium in my bedroom, and I lifted up a hide to put him in, and my snake, the original one was there. She was with another snake, a male called Geoff, a lava corn, he was, and they were completely tangled up in each other, and touching noses. I was just watching, with a sort of "Yeah, I suddenly have three snakes instead of one, what the hell. Don't care" attitude.

Any meaning to this?

I want to dress Goth, because I love the style- the only thing is, the style I particularly like is Romantic Goth, and the way I want to do it is very different to how I usually dress (sort of Victorian). How can I start wearing what I want without anyone asking awkward questions?

PS. I know that being Goth is not just about what you wear, etc, I know all that.

PPS. Please no timewasters who say things like 'Why do you want to go Goth anyway', and stuff, It's my choice, not yours.

I'm writing a book (based mainly on Warriors by Erin Hunter, Divergent by Veronica Roth and Breathe by Sarah Crossan) where settlers from another world landed on this planet of ruins (very much like Earth would be after WWIII). There are clans and gangs of teens roaming around. They're all teens, because a germ that was on the planet when they arrived killed the adults, and made children grow at double speed, until the age of 14, when they aged normally, and died at 24. The different clans/gangs have different attributes, both physically and mentally.

I need names for these gangs. Like the ones from Divergent, but different enough so it's not outright copying.

I'm writing a novel with a character who is basically Slender with Rorschach mask on, only with a few minor differences of my own. What should I call him? Here are a few details:

He says nothing at all. Ever. To anyone.

He doesn't have a "secret identity". He's not a normal person under the mask.

He wears a hat just like Skulduggery Pleasant's.

He wears a suit as well as this hat, all of which is completely black.

He's a tiny bit taller than a regular man

He's the antagonist of the story, but he's more passive aggressive than 'planning-to-take-over-the-world' kind of villain.

He can teleport. A bit.

He's basically a normal man, taller than usual, who says nothing, is really scary in a distant kind of way, has no facial features whatsoever, and wears a mask very similar to Rorschach's. What's his name? Something related to what he's like, but ORIGINAL, PLEASE. I don't want to nick anymore stuff for him. Thank you!

I'm writing a novel about an assassin, and she's got a weapon that I need a name for.

It's basically an armoured frisbee that has the same effect on people as Oddjob's hat, only more visibly deadly. What to call it?!?!?!?!? PS. Plz don't suggest Battlebie, or something stupid like that. It's a serious novel.

PPS. Her name's Kara Saldana, and I need a catchphrase for her. Something catchy that will make her enemies really angry. Something along the lines of Tanith Low's "Come on then if you think you're hard enough".

In the KC by Rick Riordan, is there any sure-fire way to kill an Egyptian Magician? Any major weak points? Fatal flaws? Anything that could lead to their downfall? Please don't waste my time with answers like: "Why do you want to know", etc., unless there's something else of worth in the same answer.

I want to get a bird of prey for educational purposes, to show children and teach them about it in shows and birthday parties and stuff. No hunting or anything. What should I get? Money's a little tight, so nothing TOO expensive, and it would be my first, so I don't have any experience.

PS. I know about performing animals licences and falconer's licences, etc., so yeah. Also, I live in the UK.

My corn snake, Caroline shed about an hour ago, but the skin has blood on it, near the cloaca. It's not a lot, but she's my 1st snake, and I get really stressed if I think something is wrong...
