My brother lives in Arizona, and he's been in a house since May. He just got notice that the homeowner is being foreclosed on and he may have to move out of the place early if it sells. They are giving him $100 off the rent due to he has to keep it in show condition and allow people to walk through. I can't imagine this is legal, but I am not in Arizona so I don't really know where to send him.

What are the tenant's options in this scenario? Is he obligated to open his house up for showings? What might he be entitled to financially? What agencies might he turn to?

What type of recipe am I looking for if I want my icing to turn out thick like that?

I am going to put a window box outside my bathroom window, but it is full, SW- facing southern CA sun. What might smell good but can handle the heat? Or should I just do a mini- cactus garden?

Since I am one of only a few women in my position in my company, I want to be sure that I don't act too "girly" or "bitchy." I need to handle this like a man.

Anyhow, today I found a list of top-performing offices in the company based on customer service improvement year to year. The office I was running prior to my promotion in November got the Number 1 spot. The guy who took over is listed as the top performer for the year, even though he only worked the office for 2 months!

So what would a man do? Congratulate the "winner" for a hard earned year, or go to the boss and point out the error? I don't want to make a huge issue out of this, but a little recognition for working as hard as I do should not be too much to ask. Actually, I don't think I should have to ask.

My house is nearly 60 years old and has one of those in-the -floor heaters. The thermostat thing in the living room is broken and you can turn the heater on and off, but it will not shut itself off when it gets too hot or turn itself on when it gets too cold; it's 100% manual.

Will replacing this part make the heater come on & off automatically, or is the problem somewhere else? How much does somethign like this cost, and can I do it myself?

My BF doesn't want to dress up for halloween but I convinced him to be a Sim so all he has to wear is a green diamond.

So how should we make it, and how do we get it to hover? Also, if it could have a light in it that could change from green to red that would be AWESOME.

I have some ideas in my head, but I'd just like to hear someone else's ideas?

Ernesto got attacked by a raccoon or something last week and has to be in a stint for 3 weeks. He's taking 3 different pills to help him combat infection and swelling.

Poor guy has barely even purred for me in days, and all he wants to do is go outside and play! I have to make him stay indoors because when I let him on the back porch he tried to make a break for it, and I don't want him to hurt himself more so now he jsut sits in front of the screen door and pout.

He won't even snuggle because he thinks snuggling means pills shoved down his throat, and his brother kitty keeps wanting to playfight.

Any ideas?

I am calling around to vets and the price they charge for a neuter is absolutely ridiculous! Up to $240 quoted, which I'm sure means a lot more once all is said and done. Banfield seems to be the cheapest so far, and they've been nice and caring for the old kitty.

Anyhow, my question is do you know how long you have to be on the plan to get the benefits? Is it worth the monthly cost? Are you satisfied with the program?

I am debating whether I want to take 1 more class this semester that would put me in 12 units, which is full time. I also work full time. How will this affect my tax return, if at all?

The leaves of my angel trumpet have lots of holes in them and there are pellets that look like bug droppings. I can't see any bugs, but something is eating the hell out of my tree!

Also, what is a good fertilizer to use? What numbers do trumpets like?

I am thinking of building a bed frame that would essentially put the mattress on a platform with a sheet of plywood underneath. The boxspring is going to make the bed too high to get into.

Should I build shorter to keep the boxspring in use for the warranty, or does it even matter? It will still be a sturdy, level area for the mattress to sit on.

I think I want Unleashed, but the Open for Business looks fun too.
