  • Need a new fitness program?

I used to be a college football running back, and focused a lot on weight lifting and running, but 3 years later, I am ready to hit the grindstone again!

Problem is, my knees are so bad from getting hit in football that I can't run for long periods of time, and I am not really going for hardcore weight lifting like I used to, but I would still like to stay in shape!

    Any ideas for workout routines?

  • I have a sore on my waist line, help!?

It is a mosquito bite-like sore on my waist line that at first I attempted to pop, thinking it was a zit or something, and when I did, it filled up with blood instantly. It became very sore and uncomfortable, so I grabbed a pair of surgical scissors, sterilized them, and made two small slit marks in the bump. I squeezed out the blood at first and then a yellowish puss came out, then more blood. I took care of it after everything came out, including rubbing alcohol, triple anti-biotic ointment and a band-aid. I do not know how I got it, or what it is; I just know that it is very uncomfortable and probably not healthy. If you could assist me in what it is, how to fix it, or whether or not I need to see a doctor, that would be great!

    Thanks!

  • Will they reinstate asthma waivers into the military any time soon?

I was in the USMC DEP and got bronchitis, the MEPS doctor sent me to get a methecholine challenge, and I failed. I have heard, however, that it is hard to pass these tests with the best of lungs. So I was medically discharged from the DEP and left asking, "what now?" I was planning on being a career military man, and using this to provide for my family, I need a new plan and I am willing to go to another branch. What's going on in the military medical world?

  • a-space travel question?

i am going to be leaving for my marines training in january, and I have a few questions about the a-space travel. I know that it is all stand-by from base to base, but my question is, is that from marine base to marine base, or is that from any military base to any military base?

  • highschool football?

i am 160 pounds, but i hit and take out guys twice my size, this year i was starting DE for varsity going against a guy that was 280. I was in because of an injury on a guy on the team. Both DE positions are taken next year, and I also started a few games at corner, but those positions are taken next year too. I played some OLB this year for varsity and a game or two on JV. People come to games to watch me blow up people on kickoffs and punts, i have given around 10 concussions in my HS career. How much do i need to weigh and lift to be an effective OLB, I bench around 180, i squat around 245, my 40 is about 4.9 and i am around 5'10"-6' depending on the day.

  • first pick?

i have first pick in a winners league for fantasy football. there are 20 teams so i will get the first pick and then the 40th. who should i take, im thinkin maybe peyton manning, or LT maybe shaun alexander, who do u think? maybe peyton manning because edge is gone so they will be even more dependant on manning to pass, but then there is LT because brees is gone and so their passing game is gone so they will have to run more, but then there is shaun alexander, who is just awesome.
