I have Comcast wireless internet and the strength of the signal that I'm getting from my router will vary from 1Mbps to 54Mbps in a matter of seconds. Why is this and what can I do to make it stronger and more consistent?

I've been dating a man who says he has no plans of being serious with a woman for five years. He wants to save for college, finish college, and then be settled into his career before he would be serious with any woman. He's not even sure if he would ever want to get married again. Right now he just wants to have fun and enjoy dating me. We talk everyday, go out once a week, and afterwards he always sleeps over. If it was just me, it wouldn't be such a big deal, but I also am the single mother of four kids. He's said there's always the temptation of going deeper, but I feel like I'm just setting myself up for heartbreak. What should I do?

While I support the fact that musicians need to be paid, I don't understand their complaint about losing money from people downlaoding. They make millions of dollars already, so to whine about losing money seems incredibly materialistic and shallow to me. If they are making music for the right reasons, then shouldn't they just care about whether or not they have fans, not if they have a few more million dollars than the billion they already have? Just IMHO

Yesterday Comcast installed a Gateway wireless router on my main desktop. They installed a wireless usb adapter for 2.4GHz networks on my second desktop. My computer says it's connected but there's a very low signal and it won't connect to the internet. I have a laptop computer that connects perfectly with the Gateway router no matter where I am in the house. What do I need to do to get the desktop to work?

It finally happened. I met a wonderfull guy. But the relationship is not without problems. The two problems are that we both have kids and crazy schedules and we live an hour apart. Because of our schedules, finding gas money, and babysitters makes it really hard to go out together. We've been out three times over the past month and half. We had wonderful times during all three but find we can't talk as easily with each other as we do online. It's been over a month and we chat every single day. I like him and I know he likes me, but I feel like I'm having a relationship with a computer, not a person. I feel like all I ever do is wait around for him to decide he actually wants to see me. When I try to talk about it, he says we'll go out after he "works some stuff out." Am I just settling and this guy is just not that into me or should I give it more time?

I've had a freshwater fish tank for nearly a year now and the water has always been clear. In the last week or so the water won't stop getting so cloudy you can't see the fish. I've tried two 80% water changes, but it's not helping. What can I do?

Writing is my passion and my dream is to be a published writer, but I wonder if it would be smarter to go to college. I write novels, so having a degree would not help me get published in any way. I'm a widowed, single mother of four, so I know I wouldn't have enough time to do both. I worry that if I go to college, between the classes and the kids, I won't have time to write. But I also worry that the writing may not work out, and then I'd need a degree as a back up plan. Financially, I am very stable, so I can afford to do either.
