I have a gtx 660 and a cooler master eXtreme power 500w. My FPS frequently drops. The cooler master has no 90 plus rating. Could this effect gaming performance because my 7770 never had problems.

Which one will perform better if i already have a GTX 660?

My 660 will play games such as BF3 on ultra but will skip and drop fps on all setting even low. I had a 7770 and it never did this.

Cpu: A10-5800k Apu

Psu- 500w cooler master

2 hdd and only a Pci express 2.0 not 3.0 slot

My AMD A10-5800k APU with the stock fan is hitting 90 degrees Celsius while gaming with 3 case fans running in a HAF 912. Should I get a Aftermarket cpu fan or something? Any Tips?

Everyone says to put your Operating System on an Solid State Drive but does it really speed it up that much? Also right now all i can get is a normal disc drive, can I switch my OS to the SSD after its on my disc drive?

If i have a PCI Express 2.0 x 16 slot on my motherboard, can I get a PCI 3.0 x 16 motherboard?

I know there is no videocard beside the apu but I plan to get a 7770 when I have the money. The total is $534. Is this resonable pricing and do you recomend these parts? Also would your recommend Windows 7 or 8 for gaming?

I still learning about build computers and was wondering before buying all these parts. The motherboard says it supports PCI 2.0 and the video card is 3.0 and this is the best motherboard I could find for the new AMD processors.

I'm on a pretty tight budget so try to only modify things if its a big deal. The rest of the parts include a disk drive, and windows 7 for a total of 610 after MIR. Are this part going to work good together and run games decently?

I get this one second beep often when i have headphones in. Its not the headphones because i tested one multiple pairs. The sound disappears when i take out the headphones.

I got a disc version of skyrim because i didn't want to have to wait for ever for it to download but when i started to install steam came up and started installing it. Will my game download any faster than if i bought on steam? Also our there any advantage to buying disc version of games?
