We have been Directv subscribers for years. We love Directv. However, we cannot afford to continue with the Directv service at the present time. We have tried 2 different RCA indoor antennas with no luck. The sales people keep saying we just need to spend more money. Is there anyway to get local channels without spending hundreds of dollars? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I just finished reading the Twilight saga. Do you know any other good young adult vampire love story's like the Twilight books? I am reading these with my daughter so I am not looking for any hard core vampire books, but ones more similar to the Twilight series. Any suggestions you have will be appreciated.

Our 2 year old chihuahua seems to have a leg injury. We didn't see him get hurt so we don't know what kind of injury he has. His right rear leg seems to be what is bothering him although he will let us touch it and move it. He can't go up or down stairs. He favors that leg when walking on flat ground. There are times he holds that leg up and just walks on 3 legs. He cries and whimpers when he tries to climb or jump. His whole body is shaking. He does not seem to be too hot or too cold. He is miserable and is not acting like himself. It's Saturday night. We will not be able to get him to a vet before Monday. What can we do to make our little guy feel better?

How do you find a school/program that will prepare you to be a physicians assistant?

Our 17 year old daughter is dating a 30 year old man. (This is legal in the state of Nevada.) However, the police said we can either report her as a runaway and then they will arrest him for harboring a runaway or get a restraining order. He is currently in jail and calls her and has her so distraught. We were wondering how we can get a restraining oder. And what is the difference between a restraining order and a no contact order? Which one is what the parents of a minor child can get to protect the child? Thanks for any help you may have to offer.

We have crazy neighbors who live across the cul de sac from us. We have been neighbors for 4 years now. They have been crazy since we have moved in, but it is getting much worse. This weekend hubby & I were in lawn chairs watching 2 of our children play when the neighbor pulled out a gun!!! We got the kids inside & called 911. The police came and it turns out his gun was a BB gun that looks like a hunting rifle and he said he was wanting to shoot dogs who poop in his yard (there were not any dogs around when this happened). The police said he had been drinking and used poor judgement. Now I am scared to live across from these crazy people. What can I do about my crazy neighbors? I want us to be able to go outside and enjoy our yard, but I don't want have to deal with them anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do at this point? Obviously if they pull weapons I can call police, but what do I do about their usual hysterics and screaming profanity at children?

My cat ran across my laptop and the screen is now upside down. Please help! This happened once before, and I was able to find a sequence on the keyboard that corrected this; however, I don't remember hwat I did last time. Thanks for your help.

I cannot send or receive Yahoo e-mail. I husband has been trying to e-mail me and the messages are returned. I tried to send him a message and I got the error "For you protection you account has been suspended for 48 hours". What causes this? Is there any way to resume e-mail prior to 48 hours?

I cannot get my Yahoo mail account to work. My husband has tried sending me 4 e-mail messages that were all returned. I tried to send an outgoing message and I got an error that read "To Protect You, your account has been suspended for 48 hours". Why am I getting this error? What does this mean? How can I get my e-mail account working again? I can't wait 48 hours for e-mail!!!

My daughter just came home from a friend's house and they were celebrating Christmas. Her friends' family said their religion celebrates Christmas for the next five days. She said their religion is "Ba Hi" (I am probably spelling it wrong, but it sounds like Ba Hi") I am just curious about this religion because I have never heard about it before. My high school daughter and her teen age friends keep telling me about a murder that occured in a haunted house in Las Vegas a "few years back". According to these kids a mad man got into the haunted house with a real chainsaw and raped and murdered a woman (some kids say multiple people were murdered). I have lived here in Las Vegas a long time and I have never heard of this. I have tried snopes.com and google and I can't find this story at all -- let alone proof if it is true or not. Has anyone else heard this haunted house chainsaw murder story before???

The Disney Phones look pretty good and not like cheesey toys (to me at least).

Does anyone have any experience with the new Disney Phones and Disney wireless? I love the features they offer with their phones/plans. However, I would hate to get stuck under a contract where coverage is bad. How big is the Disney Mobile network? My children travel and I want them to have coverage in major cities. Are there any other providers that allow you to set allowances and restrict call call times?

My 15 year old needs to have her phone controlled. She goes over minutes and uses the phone late at night and at school. I have not been able to find another cellular service who will allow up to monitor her minutes used. (some allow GPS monitoring, but I am more concerned about cost control and setting limits for minutes, text pages, web times, pics sent, etc.)

My husband has been having medical problems and chronic bladder infections. He HATES going to the urologist. He keeps canceling his appointments. Now he needs to have a test done and he is very anxious (they need to scope his urinary track). Is there anything I can do to help him feel better about this? Have any of you guys experienced this? How bad is it?

We just found cigarettes in our 15 year olds back pack. (We were not snooping, she asked us to help her fix a zipper on the bag). She said she started smoking when she visited her mother this summer. How do we deal with this? We have always trusted her and given her a lot of freedom, but now this trust has been violated. I want to give her a home drug test to make sure this is all she is doing. What adivce can you offer.

I have a Toshiba Laptop (Satellite A20) and I need more RAM. I currently have two 256. Is it better to buy two 512 or one 1024? Where is the best place to buy RAM (on-line or retail store?)? Are there any brands that are better than others? Thanks in advance for your help and information!
