My nutcase of a neighbour drilled a hole in my driveway...he thinks its on his side but the survey says...?
MY SIDE!!!
I can't stand the guy and would like to make is life as difficult as possible. Not that I'm a vengeful person or anything... it's just that he's a very difficult and unreasonable person (who drills a hole in another person's driveway???).
Any ideas on how to legally make him pay?
11 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoBloodwork back from routine pregnancy checkup found that I'm not immune from rubella.?
In my first pregnacy, I was immune. This time, I'm not. This does not make any sense to me. The Dr said that it was because I was just above the "cut-off" for immunity and this time, I'm just below the "cut-off". How is this possible. Once you have an immunity, do you not have that same immunity for life? I'm not all that worried, but a little concerned since getting Rubella now that I'm pregnant can be very serious to my unborn baby.
Can't find any insight into fading rubella immunity on line...I thought that someone in the community might have be able to shed a little more light on the subject.
1 AnswerPregnancy1 decade agoBrushing a toddler's teeth? Does it really work or is it just practice at this point?
My daughter is 17 months and I try to brush her teeth regularly. Once in the morning, once before bed. She seems pretty agreeable when I bring the toothbrush out with the yummy toothpaste on it but as soon as she eats the toothpaste, she's not interested in anymore. I try to get the back both sides, upper and lower and the front teeth, but I'm not sure how good a job I'm doing since the whole toothbrushing thing is over in less than 30 seconds. Is there a "right" way to brush her teeth and does it really make a difference?
10 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoBest to be home with Mommy and newborn baby or at daycare?
I'm expecting my second baby this summer and plan to be home at least one year or more. My first baby will be 2 when the second arrives.
I was thinking of putting baby #1 in daycare at least part-time for a several different reasons.
a) I can have some alone time with baby #2
b) Baby #1 can socialize, play and learn with others her same age
c) Baby #1 will have her own little "life" and maybe not be jealous of her newborn sibling.
My husband thinks it's not a good idea since there's nothing better than being at home with "mommy". I tend to disagree but so see his point of view that Baby #1 would probably rather be with me than at daycare. But daycare would be for her own good; she just wouldn't know it.

29 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoRecommended service appointment for my vehicle but nowhere near the milage the service is recommended for?
I've got an '05 Honda Element and the milage is at 23,500km. The dealership sent a letter saying that according to their records, the vehicle has 32,000km and therefore requires the "type C" service (i.e. $200 service).
I bought the extended warranty and don't want to risk making the warrantly null and void by missing service appointments.
I called the dealership and explained the low milage on my vehicle and my driving habits but they insisted I bring the vehicle in and have the "type C" service done on it anyway because the service schedule is not only a function of milage but time as well.
So I did (they're working on my car as we speak and I'm getting ready to charge $200 on my card) but I'm kinda annoyed thinking they're ripping me off. Thoughts?
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhen and how do you tell your boss that you're pregnant?
I've been with the company for 2 months and just found that I'm expecting (YAY!). I'm expecting a bonus in December after my 3 months probation period is done. My plan is tell my boss at the end of my first trimester (beginning of Jan) and to work until the end of my 2nd trimester (mid-April). I don't intend to return to work for several years at least, but don't necessarily want to burn bridges. Thoughts?
10 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoWhat's the best Cold Sore medication out there?
Just got a cold sore this morning. It's the first one I've had in years. I used to use Zilactin which created a gross film over the sore and made it look worse than it was (although to be totally honest, a cold sore always looks terrible). This time, I bought a tube of Abreva. It was twice the price of the other creams and I'm skeptical that any of the creams ever do anything... but at least it doesn't form a film and it rubs in clear. Thoughts?
