I live in the state of North Carolina and was looking to move to the state of New York. I was never married to my ex boyfriend but we have an almost 3 year old daughter (we lived together and dated 5 years). We remain friends, but I have found a job in NY and want to move and he says he will not let me.

A bit of a background on us, last 4th of July he became violent and while holding our daughter, he punched me in the face as she watched. She still talks about it to this day. That wasn't the first time he has been violent with me, he's pushed me and hit me before, never on the face though. I never did call the cops so I always worry about it being my word against his though.

My question is, how do I go about moving out of the state? We have never went to court for custody or child support. He does pay me $400 every month though, and his parents are loaded which makes me nervous since they would definitely pay for his court costs if that was the case. I cannot afford an attorney. How does NC go about the ruling? What chance do I stand? And what should I do?! I need all of the help I can get right now. Very stressed :(

I have no idea what to do. My 2 year olds dad (we were never married) says he won't let me move from NC to NY and he will take me to court to fight for her. The thing is, his record is not perfect. He had a million speeding tickets, always gets utilities shut off, and the topper was that while holding our daughter on July 4th he punched me in the face. I never called the cops out of fear, but I should have. My question is, how do I go about this if I go to court? Will court tell me I can't move? I want him to be a part of her life and I have tried to talk with him about a fair visitation schedule. I really don't want to have to take it to court :(

I just started on a health insurance plan and I really dont understand much about it. It says I have an anual HRA allocation of $687.50, a current HRA balance of $1187.50, and then an annual bridge of $750? It also says I have traditional health insurance that starts after $1500. Can anyone explain this to me in laymans terms please? Thanks!!

Wednesday I will be 7 weeks pregnant. I have been spotting mostly brown but sometimes pink blood for a week. I went into the doctor after freaking out and they told me they saw a yolk sac and a gestational sac and it looked like a normal early pregnancy. I just get so worried because Im still bleeding! Im on prometrium, a progesterone supplement for 3 days now. My boobs are sore and I get sick feeling when I eat, so I definitly have symptoms which is a good thing. My question is, how many women out there have had brown/pink spotting while pregnant and had everything work out ok? I go for another ultrasound Thursday to hopefully see the fetal pole. My Hcg levels were in the mid 8000's at 6wks 1 day which my doctor said was normal since it was over 3000. Can anyone give me peace of mind? I am constantly worrying and need to probaly calm down!

OK so heres my rant, so in August I stopped taking my pills so I could get pregnant. I foolishly stopped it mid cycle so it messed up my period big time. i got it two weeks early twice. its usually 28 days. tomorow (wednesday) would be my 28th day and i feel no signs of a period. however, i feel weird. im getting really tired, really moody to where i start crying at real stupid things and then get angry, im oddly enough not hungry for anything, and i keep feeling a bit naucious. its not in my head, i know that much. so two days before my missed period i took a test and it said negative. the thing is, is that its a clearblue digital, and arent those suppose to be really good at detecting the hcg levels? could i still be pregnant? i hit all my would be ovulation days right and then some. i have this odd feeling like something is up. do you think i could be or is this just another irregular period? (m gonna end up giving it a week then go to the doctor, i just want to know what you think)

Ok I am a bit confused. Do you try the day of ovulation to get pregant since this is when you are most fertile, or do you try the two days beforehand? I know some of you will say why not try all three days, but when is the best time to do the deed? Thanks!

Ok so I know I shouldn't have, but I stopped my birth control pills in the middle of the pack to try and conceive the following month. I got my period 3 days after the last pill I took which means my period was 9 days earlier. Regardless, will my ovulation days still be 11-14 days after the start of my last period or will it be earlier or later? Thanks for your help!

Ok, so for the past week my boobs have been extremely sore. Just a few days after my boyfriend and I had sex. My last period was on July 30. I had sex a few times on my ovulation days and figured my very sore boobs were because of this. I know its really too early though. Also, I was on birth control but messed a few days up so when I started to feel pregnant I stopped taking the pills. I also stopped my Celexa as well so it wouldn't harm the fetus. Well today my boobs and nipples are still really sore and Im still really tired and I just went to the bathroom and I have red blood coming out! Is this implantation bleeding or is this an early period since I stopped the BC? I am not due for my period til a week from Monday and I know its too early to take a test. Should I take a test? Do you think I could still be pregnant and this is just implantation bleeding? Let me know with your stories!! Thanks!!

Yea, Im serious, too. I took a picture if anyone needs to see. I really don't know if this is normal since I was told some cats heal differently than others, but I'm just worried about my poor guy! It's like pink/red gut type looking stuff hanging out. Like a pea sized amount. We bought him the elizabeth collar so he doesnt lick it and he doesnt seem like he is in pain. Plus now the vet is closed for the day/weekend. Could I put peroxide on it? Is this normal? What will they do if something is wrong?

I wanna go to some sort of Indie club venue or something like that when I visit Chicago. I've heard a lot about the Bleeding Heart Bakery and I even tried their Lavender Lemonade at Lollapalooza (awesome!!) but what else other than that??

I had my dentist shave off a bit of my crowned tooth which already has a root canal, a couple days back because the tooth on top of it was in pain. Now, my crowned tooth seems to have pain! It isnt a cavity pain, but a sore pain, like my bite is off now that he shaved the tooth! How can this happen? I dont want this to be infected or anything. I'm more than likely calling the dentist tomorow just to be safe. There's also a slight pain in my jaw. Could it be the bite is off?!?!?!

I had a temporary crown put on a few years back, a metal one, and now it just randomly started aching. only when i press down on it does it hurt. if i go to the dentist, will they be able to take it off then put it back on after they clean it out?

Ultimately I want to take the monorail which I hear you have to anyways to get from the parking lot to the front gate of Magic Kingdom. But I just don't know if this is allowed and if so, should I park my car at say Downtown Disney and take the bus from there to the monorail then take monorail to Disney? I havent been in so long and I have no idea how to go abouts this!! Help!!!

will I know where it is in magic kingdom, too? i keep reading reviews saying that the lunch isnt anything special but the breakfast and the dinner is quite yummy! im not sure which day i should get the reservations on since we're going next weekend. would friday be too crowded? plus, its my birthday!! 22!!

I know Magic Kindgom and Epcot have fireworks, but is it everynight? If so what time? Also, when does Downtown Disney close?

Im going to be staying at a house in a Summerfield when I go to Disneyworld, and for our 4th day there we would like to go to a beach. Which beach is the best and/or closest to Summerfield? Or should I just hit up Cocoa Beach or Daytona?

I want to bring my purse to carry stuff in like my wallet and my digital camera, but what happens when I go on the rides?Would I be allowed to put my bag down and when I get off the ride get it? Im just afraid with the wet rides like splash mountain that my camera will get ruined. Should I bring my purse??

I would love more than anything in the world to visit San Diego. Im on the opposite side of the US in Charlotte, NC. I hate it. I havent even been to the west side. I hear nothing but the best about San Diego, like the restaurants (Rubios) and the beaches (Mission Beach). What is it really like living in San Diego? What do you guys do for fun? I'd love to day dream and experience what its like in someones own words.

I even use the expensive lavender vanilla smelling tide in my washing machine and it still smells moldy. Why is this and is there any way to get rid of it?

For Valentines day I want to do something special for my boyfriend. He is an audio engineer and loves going and checking out studios and all that stuff that I have no idea about. What can I do that involves this sort of thing for Valentines Day? Is there somewhere with like a famous studio I can take him on a vacation to? Help!!
