2 AnswersProgramming & Design5 years agoHow can I remember whether I took my nightly prescription drug?
I have a bit of a problem when it comes to taking my medicine. It's not necessarily that I didn't take it, it's mostly that I don't remember taking it. Any help is appreciated!
2 AnswersMedicine6 years agoIs a relevant arrest and/or indictment sufficient to establish "preponderance of evidence" for a civil trial?
Example: Suppose Bob assaults Amy enough to make her go through expensive medical treatment. The police, after careful consideration of all the evidence against Bob, arrest Bob, who is subsequently found not guilty in a court of law. Amy them launches a civil suit against Bob to get money to pay off the medical expenses. Can she win if her primary evidence is Bob's arrest and maybe some photos of her injuries ?
Suppose Bob was indicted before his trial. Could she use the indictment as her primary evidence?

4 AnswersSafety6 years agoIf someone who is currently in prison is facing new charges, would they be transferred to a different location?
Suppose someone is currently in prison. A DA in the same state wishes to prosecute this prisoner using some new evidence that suggests the prisoner committed an unrelated (to the former offense) crime in the DA's county sometime before the prisoner was arrested for the offense for which he is now in prison. During the criminal proceedings, will the prisoner remain in the state and/or federal prison system, or will he sit in the county jail until after the new proceedings are over? Or will the DA wait until after this prisoner finishes his current sentence?

13 AnswersPolitics6 years agoTouched some chalky stuff on a triple-A alkaline battery. Is it safe 4 humans? Do I need to clean any electronics I touched before I washed?
I was changing out the batteries on my TI-84 calculator. In the box of unused batteries, there was one that had some white, chalky stuff. I know it was chalky because I touched it. Anyway, I didn t actually use that battery in the calculator. I put it back in the box, then carried the calculator upstairs with its new batteries installed. I washed my hands, but I m a little concerned that whatever traces of the stuff I left before I washed might damage some things. (I did turn on a light on my way to the bathroom.)
