A very good friend was recently arrested for shoplifting. It's completely out of character for her. She's going to court soon and her lawyer asked me to write a letter of refrence for her.

I am stuck on what to write. So far all I have written is how long I have known her and that she is a close trusted friend.

The fact that this is completely out of character for her makes it even harder to write this letter.

She's a telented musician and an excellent student. (she's my room mate, we both go to UMass)

I just have absolutely no clue what to write.

I'm a 23 year old female. In the past few months I've been noticing vericose veins on my legs. Some of them are very painful. I have seen doctors and they have no idea what is causing them. They did rule out blood clots, and my blood pressure is perfect. No one in my family has had vericose veins. I am in great health, I do not have any preexsisting health conditions and I do not smoke.

I'm a vegitarian and I have been for most of my life. Also, in the past year I've lost over 50lbs.

I always thought vericose veins were something that people got later in life. I'm wondering if my vegitarian diet or weight loss could be related with the veins.

What can I do to prevent new ones? What could be causing them in the first place? What are my options for getting rid of the one al alreay have?

The Great Global Warming Swindle is a controversial documentary film by British television producer Martin Durkin, which argues against the scientific theory that human activity is the main cause of global warming.

I was impressed by the filmmakers ability to misrepresent data and make it appear accurate. I had been wanting to see what how the otherside thinks.
