  • TNR. Does anyone have experience with this. I'm trying to decide if I should continue or not.?

I recently trapped and had neutered one of the strays that has been hanging in my back yard. There are 7 total I need to catch. However I haven't seen the cat I released since I released her. I'm worried she may have died. Anyone have experience with TNR and know if the cats they catch and release ever die? I'm trying to make sure they have a better life not kill them so I won't continue if this is the case.

  • Do you like Salsa dancing?

A friend and I are trying to peg how popular salsa dancing is. I'm not a fan (although I don't hate it) but he loves it. So just a quick survey of who likes it, dislikes it, or are in the middle. Also tell me what your favorite type of dance is. Thanks.

  • Bird call identification help?

I keep hearing a bird and I can't find out where it is. It sounds like a cross between someone laughing (short bursts) and a laser gun firing. Anyone know what it could be? I also live by the Pennsylvania Maryland border if that helps.

  • Do english mastiffs tend to be aggressive and territorial?

I am looking into getting an english mastiff but before I do I've been doing some research on the breed. Everything seems to fit with what I want but I have read that english mastiffs tend to be territorially aggressive. I live by a state park so I want to be able to take him/her there and I also want to be able to take my dog to a dog park. I don't want a dog that has a tendency to be socially or territorially aggressive. I want the opinion of those that have experience with english mastiffs. Are they aggressive dogs or should I ignore the information that says they are and go with the it's all in how you train them mentality?

  • How would you describe a food court to someone who has never been to one?

I have to describe a food court in French for homework in 4-6 sentences (since apparently food courts are an American thing). How would you describe a food court to someone who doesn't know what one is? It doesn't have to be in French I will do that. All I have so far is a place where several restaurants are that people go to eat after shopping.

  • In your opinion which was the best disney movie ever?

I was just listening to some disney music and I can't decide which disney movie is my favorite. Personally I'm partial to The Lion King, Mulan, Hercules, and the Little Mermaid. Then again Pixar which is owned by Disney has come out with some awesome movies. So what's your opinion? Which disney movie is the best?

  • nutritious meals for kids ideas?

I need simple healthy ideas on what to feed a 6 year old. I looked it up on google but I can not imagine a kid eating some of the recipes I gathered from that search. I mean stuffed peppers really? Anyhow I am emergency babysitting and I'm not use to children. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

  • Gestalt theory founder?

I was trying to find the founder of Gestalt theory and I've got several different answers of who it could be. From what I've sorted out this is what I've come up with. Can anyone tell me if I'm correct?

Christian von Ehrenfels was the original founder although it was it was refined by Max Wertheimer and co-founded as a therapy and brought more to the public eye by Fritz and Laura Perls.

Of course I will refine the sentence a bit more when I present, but do I have the general concept on who the founder was?

  • Which is better (health) to put on my english muffin?

I just recently started eating half a english muffin for breakfast in the morning (normally I don't eat breakfast) and I have discovered I like both cream cheese and margarine equally. So which is healthier? I spread the cream cheese on extremely thin (margarine not as much). I was looking at the back nutritional value and they both have their ups and downs. Heres a summary:

Margarine: (Serving size 1Tbsp or 14g)

    Calories-45

    fat-5g (8%DV)

    sat. fat-1.5g (8%DV)

    Cholesterol-0

    Omega 3-260mg

    Sodium:85mg (4%DV)

    vit A-10%

    no other vitamins

    Cream Cheese: (Serving size 1oz/28g)

    Calories-100

    fat-9g (14%DV)

    sat. fat-6g (30%DV)

    Cholesterol-30 (10%DV)

    Omega 3-0

    Sodium-100mg (4%DV)

    Potassium-30mg (1%DV)

    Protein-2g

    vit A-4%

    Calcium-2%

    no other vitamins

So the cream cheese has more nutrients but more fats and sodium (but I also don't think I use the full serving size). Which should I take into consideration more? Fats or nutrients? Which is more beneficial to me? I'm a 22 year old female that 5'2 120lbs if that matters at all. Thank you for helping!

  • What type of pots and pans should I get?

What material is best for pots and pans? Are there really bad health risks with nonstick pans? Is stainless steal really as great as most people make it out to be? This will be my first set so I would like to get it right the first time and get the best for my budget (I'm think a 10piece set for $150). I'm more concerned about the material than the brand which doesn't really matter to me. I have done some research but I would like some opinions as well. I don't really cook anything complicated just small steaks, hamburgers, and simple pastas. Thank you for the advice and information ahead of time.

  • Are older cars safer than newer cars?

I was talking to someone about the mach 1 mustang today and why it was his favorite car. I pointed out the small window in the back and said that doesn't look safe. He pointed out that the metal body on older cars was safer than the flimsy frame on todays newer cars. So my question is are the older cars safer because of the stronger exterior or are newer cars safer? I don't know much about cars so if I made any stupid comment please don't be offended. Thank you.

  • What animal made these tracks? (description no photo)?

Recently I was out at the lake (I live around Gettysburg PA) and saw some tracks out on the ice I couldn't identify. The tracks were together like a rabbits but both hind legs and front were the same size. It seemed like it was two toed like a deer but the ice was too thin to support the weight of a deer (unless it was a baby but I don't think they will wander that far from their mothers). There were no drag marks from a tail. If anyone has an idea can they let me know? Thanks.
