I just noticed that my account sent everyone in my "sent" list a spam email with a link. How the heck did they break into my account? I looked at recent login activity and it the login was from "Turkey" using "Yahoo! Mobile". I know that my account got compromised before last year so I changed the password, now it happened again. My computer at home was off so I don't think it was malware. What could I have done to give them access?

I was going my way, the light turned yellow and I continued with intention to pass because it was unsafe to stop, but I saw the car on the opposite side creeping forward (and scared me) so I slammed on the brakes. I stopped, but I could only stop little past the line. Then I saw the flash. Do you think I'm going to get a ticket for this?

Before I start the question again, I would like to mention I am currently insured as occasional.

But if I have my parents permission and I'm driving their car, do I need my own insurance? I just learned that I be wasting money here.

my right eye on the right side has been red for over 3 weeks now.. I'm not sure why, it's not allergies. After two weeks I went to see a doctor, the doctor said she didn't think it was anything serious, but she referred me to a ophthalmologist to be safe.. and the ophthalmologist didn't think it was anything serious, she just told me to take visine for a few days. So I did.. And it went away. Now I stopped taking the eye drops, and two days later it's back again. Had anyone experienced one eye that was red for a very long time? Thus is bugging me. Thanks!

I had a question about a parking ticket I received last night, and I was wondering if it's possible if you can help me out.

I parked in a city park parking lot in Toronto. It was late at night, and I received the ticket at 2am on my windshield. My car was the only car in the small parking lot.

The ticket given was not a regular parking ticket, I believe it was given by a police constable with a Provincial Offences Notice ticket (the same type of ticket given for speeding tickets, etc.)

It states that I commit the offence of "parking vehicle in Park between 12:01am-5:30am without permit," Contrary to "Metropolitan Toronto By-Law 608-27B."

I'm confused and worried. This stated my mother's name (she is the owner), and her information when she did not commit this parking offence. This ticket doesn't seem like the correct ticket form for parking infractions.

My question is: Is this a parking ticket, or different?

It has a set fine of $105, and a Total Payable of $135; which I thought are not given to parking tickets. And where did $105 come from? I feel like I parked in front of a fire hydrant or a handicapped space.

The Police Constable also signed the ticket right below the fine print stating that he personally handed my mother the offence notice, when he actually put it under the windshield wiper.

I want to fight this ticket, but I'm not sure what kind of ticket this is. Parking ticket, or worse.

Has anyone seen this before, or have any advice for me?

I have a 35W 25 Million Candlelight HID spotlight I bought a few years ago which uses a 12V Lead Acid Battery. I lost the DC adapter. It may have gotten mixed up with my dozens and dozens of other random adapters. I tried many, but none are powerful enough to charge the battery.

Does anyone know what adapter I can plug into my flashlight to charge it? (volatage/current?)

I got LASIK two years ago, And everything went perfect. My eyes regressed since then, and I got an enhancement 6 days ago. My right eye perfect straight out of surgery, however my left eye had severe inflammation, close to requiring a cleaning, but they asked me to increase antiimflammatory eye drops instead. My eyes still have inflammation but it is showing signs of getting better. But I have one problem. Double vision.

In my left eye, I have double vision which makes it almost impossible to read (well last night it was harder to read in my left eye than this morning, this morning I tested myself, and with a little strugge I can read), and today after doing a lot of research, I'm starting to freak out. It seems double vision (ghosting) is a permanent problem for people who get it after surgery. Does anyone know about this, I have the feeling like this is permanent.

I drive a Hyundai Elantra 02 GT. It's standard size tires are 195/60/15

Someone recently gave me a pair of 205/60/15 tires in great condition which I want to install.

I want to buy two more tires. Should I get.. 195 tires or another pair of 205 tires?

I was driving to work today, in slow traffic, only half way through the drive I noticed that my car started taking a long time to Rev down..

I would Rev up to 3000rpm, then notice it would take 2 seconds before dropping down (when usually it would take half a second). This change happened during my drive. So I had to wait longer before shifting to the next gear.

What could be malfunctioning?

Hi guys,

As I was driving down the road yesterday I had to stop for a red light about 100 feet away and I was doing half the speed limit and skidded all the way there. Once I stopped (safely) I felt my brake pedal depressurize and the pedal went closer to the floor. Later on that night a car cuts me off and I don't hit the brakes that hard and I skid again (both times I heard the skidding from the front).

Is this a sign of failing rear calipers? Or air in my brake lines. Thaanks for any help!

I drive a manual Hyundai Elantra 02.

Two months ago my car would bump occasionally while getting in first gear..

Last week, my car started bumping a lot in every gear if I put the gas pedal down far enough

This happens most frequently at low RPMs , while accelerating, and on inclines (never in high rpms 3k+).

Just yesterday, my car started shaking when I started it. It wouldn't stall, but the rpm was very unstable. I turned the A/C on and it got even worse!

I went to my mechanic, and he had a hard time figuring out what exactly is the problem. He said it could be:

Ignition coil;

Intake manifold; or

the computer.

He said the computer because it won't even detect the problem.

Basically I think I gotta go back to the mechanic with an educated guess on which to try replacing first. Does anyone have any ideas what could cause the car to progressively have less and less power?

My Pioneer receiver, VSX-9130TXH has a problem.

It powers up fine, but will not display any input, will not play audio, even when I switch it to Tuner. I have had this receiver for a little over three months now.. Nothing has been added or removed.. it just stopped working.

This happened before, a week ago, I was able to turn it off and on a couple of times and it worked, but this time it's really not coming back.

I tried going to every mode. Playstation 3, TV mode, Computer, GC, Tuner.. nothing. I have an extended warantee on this, so I'm not afraid to send it in, I just don't want to unplug 200 cables if I don't have to (lol).

I've had a squeaky car for a while, I admit I neglected to repair it because I tried to order the power steering pump off of Ebay and it takes like 3 weeks to ship.

Anyways..

My car used to squeak when I turned it on, and when I turn the wheel. I had to rev the engine to 3-5k rpm to quiet it (and it would get louder at the higher rpms before it stopped).. Now the squeaking stays at a steady speed no matter if I rev or not (something changed) and now the battery light turned on.

Is this the power steering pump? that's what my mechanic told me he thinks it is. I'm starting to think it's the belt that's loose and now probably needs to be replaced.

What do you think? Thanks a lot!

Also, I'm worried if I screwed up my alternator belt.. if I screwed up the belt to the alternator, do you think I can make a 15 minute drive to the mechanic?

I drive a Hyundai Elantra 02 5 speed. Last winter I had to avoid using my handbrake because it would not release in the cold weather.. It takes 30min-1hr to release whether or not I try driving while they are applied.

I don't think it's the cable line because that was installed new last winter and it didn't work then either. (I'm not ruling it out though)

What could it be?

Cold weather = Does not release at all.. (the handbrake bar goes down, and it's like a feather to bring it back up)

Takes 30-60min to release (with or without driving)

my clutch on my Hundai Elantra 02 has been weak for a while but now it's starting to slip entering/speeding up on the highways. Can it be regulated or do I have to replace it. Thanks!

Okay, I only noticed this because I installed a used better video card. I got a GeForce 8800 GT 1GB. After a few minutes of playing games, the screen freezes, and theres all these red spots on the screen, then the computer goes to the blue screen of death..

GPU: 61C (Idle)

Core 1: 57C (While burning a disc)

Core 2: 55C

Core 3: 52C

Core 4: 56C

(completely idle is never under 50.)

I am not sure which part of my computer is causing it to freeze.. the video card, or the CPU. This only started happening with the new video card.. I started playing more power demanding games, and watching 1080p videos.
