3 AnswersBirds9 years agoPlease Help! Belated B-Day help...! Can you help me?
I have a dear relative that I bought a Birthday card for over a month ago.
I thought that I would be able to see her and time flew by.
I know it's been over a month so do I still give her a card?
I had a lot of pressing things.
Procrastination was also a factor,
Unfortunately, I also had other obligations and priorities.
Now, I can clear my schedule a little.
What should I do?
2 AnswersEtiquette10 years agoPlease Help! What is the best technique for lifting a heavy full size (sheet) decorated cake out of the box...?
...(without ruining it?
I know a full size cake will be pretty heavy. I do not want want to drop it while taking it out.
I know that you can flatten the bottom box and take it apart, but should you have 2 or 3 people
there to help so it can be lifted out?
I thought of an exacto knife to cut it, but we may need the bottom box.
Is it acceptable to leave it in the box?
I think it will not make a proper presentation.
What do you say?
Please share any tricks you may have!
4 AnswersOther - Food & Drink10 years agoThere was a sermon by William Willmore Jr. about a rebellious young man ...?
that was being released from prison and requested
to have his mother to tie a yellow ribbon on the oak tree,
if his mother and father had forgiven him.
He told the passenger on the train please look to see if the
ribbon was there...
The passenger said that there wasn't a ribbon on the oak tree
but yellow ribbons on all the branches and everywhere..
My question: Is there a music video
of this or a video that I can see of this sermon?
If there is someone that is singing about it or
on video telling this story I would like to see it.
Can anyone help?

Does the natural pool system keep bacteria at safe levels?
What happens if a dog or person would urinate in it?
I would like to possibly have a pool like this.

It would be fun to have my dog go in with no

1 AnswerGarden & Landscape1 decade agoWhat is the maximum time you can use insulin without spoilage?
My relative was in the hospital for a good while and wants to use insulin that is
about 4 months old.
My relative purchased a lot of the insulin before entering the hospital.
I checked with my pharmacist and just want opinions
from experienced users and maybe another pharmacist.
It was at room temperature and not really sure
what the room temperature has been without AC or fans on.
I personally want to do what is best.
And I think they will have to be pitched out.
My relative says it can keep up to a year!
(That is what she read).
I would have checked with web md. but I do not want to
search for my password right now.

2 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoShould bee stingers be removed or left inside a patient?
OK, I was stung over the eye lid the other day and because
of not knowing for sure if I was allergic to bee venom,
I elected to go to the ER.
My eye was red the whole way around and puffy.
I asked if they were going to remove the stinger and they said no.
I already knew why as I had read an article about removing the stinger could cause
more venom to be released as well as a risk of infection.
So, should a stinger be removed or left in?
(If left in, does more of the venom get released anyway)?
What happens to the stinger?
Does it disintegrate in time?

4 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoArt style help...will you help me?
There are pictures that I have run across that have black shadows of a couple.
This is painted on the glass.and have tin frames (possibly from the 1940's).
The background looks like watercolors of nature.
Old fashioned house and mountains in the background.
I have seen similar pictures at flea markets.
And I seen one with a horse painted on the glass
with this shadow technique.
I believe I read something about it being painted with a french style.
(PS. This is not to be confused with those cameo pictures).
Do you know what the style is called?
