Is this sexual harassment and what should I do?
I am a 27 employee at a big corporate company. Today My boss (who is 42) asked me these questions: “what’s your sexual orientation? Are you straight or not?”
Then he asked me “was your ex rough/sexually aggressive with you?”
I felt really uncomfortable being asked such person and intimate questions.
What makes things more awkward is that I saw him at my grocery store yesterday and he was just looking straight at me, he kept looking. I look down and look up and he’s staring again. So I went to the cashier to leave and he left, but he didn’t even buy any groceries which was odd.
What do you guys honk about all of this? It’s creeping me out plus he asks me when I prefer to come in for a meeting, to choose a time and let him know, but he doesn’t ask my coworkers when they would like to come in, he just demands them when to come in. and I asked him if I could leave early on mondays, he said “no,no nobody’s allowed to do that” but then the next day he’s like “I’ll see what I can do” and then later he says “you’re free to leave early on mondays now”
Why is he acting this way??

I caught My co-worker staring at my body from the corner of his eye, he is always asking me personal questions, and about my family, I recently told him I’m looking for another job and he said “no, stay here” but I insisted I am trying to find a better job and he initially seemed to encourage me but then when I said Ive been seeing this guy who’s an employment counsellor he’s like “you’re not really going to bother are you? I mean come on, you can’t do it. You won’t even do well. Stay here. “
