Why is my coworker acting like this?
I caught My co-worker staring at my body from the corner of his eye, he is always asking me personal questions, and about my family, I recently told him I’m looking for another job and he said “no, stay here” but I insisted I am trying to find a better job and he initially seemed to encourage me but then when I said Ive been seeing this guy who’s an employment counsellor he’s like “you’re not really going to bother are you? I mean come on, you can’t do it. You won’t even do well. Stay here. “ I’m really confused about why my coworker seems so assertive and controlling

That sounds like he likes you and doesn't want you to leave work so he can see you everyday and it seems like he got a little jealous because he might think you might find someone there, but it does seem to me like he likes you!
