  • What are good examples for level 1, 2, & 3 Questions?

Hey guys, I'm working on a literacy lesson for my eighth grade science class. I want them to practice making level one, two, and three questions. I have an article for them to read and then they will work in groups to come up with questions. However, before I get into the bulk of the lesson, I wanted to brainstorm creating level questions with a silly thing on PB&J sandwiches. So, I've come up with this passage to practice on as a class. However, being the end of school, my brain is a little worn and I can't come up with more than a few of my own examples. Can you all help?

Here's the passage: (I wrote it based on a google search, so I'm not claiming anything is factual)

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich consists of two pieces of bread with peanut butter and jelly smeared in between. A PB&J sandwich made with the recommended serving sizes on white bread consists of 22% of a person’s daily calorie intake and 22% of their daily recommended fat intake. However, most of the fat in peanut butter is considered a healthy fat. The PB&J was created by soldiers during WWII who wanted their protein-packed peanut butter to be more appealing, so they mixed it with their jelly.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Book title written in crayon? what is it called?

I have wanted to read a book for a while but now that I have time, I can't remember the title. I sort of remember the cover: it had a crayon drawing of a house, possibly a quick figure. The title of the book was also written it crayon, multi colored. It was short: I feel like it was "home" or "play". If I'm remembering correctly it was about a young boy with some type of disability. Definitely fiction. It's at least 2 years old. I've tried searching Google, but nothing comes back.

  • '01 ford Windstar Piston misfiring?

As my husband and I were driving through a snow storm last Sunday, on our way home from a relatives house (about an hour-fifteen into the drive) the check engine light in our van started flashing. We referenced the manual and it said it was most likely a serious problem and that we should stop driving ASAP and get it to a mechanic.

We took it to meineke the next day. They told us one of the Piston's was misfiring and had very little compression. The suggested a $2300 engine replacement because they couldn't just repair a piston.

I dropped it off at a Ford center today to get a 2nd opinion. They just called and said everything was running fine. The check engine light is no longer flashing, but is still on, and that they were going to run it for a while and test it again warm. They ensured me that nothing was wrong with any of the pistons.

Is there anything that can cause a single piston to lose compression for a few days, but with rest and warmer weather, it be completely normal again?

  • Fibromyalgia pain? Handicap tag not okay?

I was just diagnosed with fibro, but I've suffered from it for many years seeking other treatments without a diagnosis.

I am in constant pain and it has just recently begun to effect my daily life in an extreme manor. I sleep all the time. Some days I take 2 or 3 naps. I literally can not stay awake for longer than 5 hours. I also find it increasingly hard to do small tasks such as cleaning or shopping and even worse, playing with my toddler.

I suggested to my doctor that I be given a temporary handicap tag while we are figuring out my medication. I have not started treatment yet so I am still in chronic pain. The doctor looked at me like I was crazy and told me that I wasn't disabled so it's doubtful that he will sign the necessary paper work. I know I am not literally handicap, but I am not well, either.

Is this small change to make my life better for a short amount of time so much to ask for? I just want a few months to figure out medications and treatment.

Also, how should I go about getting my doctor to agree? Sidenote: switching doctors is not an option with my insurance.

  • What movie is it? Help Please!?

I'm looking for the name of a movie. I don't remember a lot, but I think it has zach Braff as the main character, although I can't find any info on it when I look him up. All I remember is that the main character and his wife get into a fight and she kicks him out. To win her back, he has to fight for her, but she won't let him in. So he sleeps on the porch for a period of weeks.

That is about all I remember. Please help! It's driving me NUTS!

  • Clerk 2 Question: Bricking in Frodo's mouth.?

In Clerks 2 during the Lord of the Ring's argument scene. Randall tells the Lord of the Rings fanatics that in the last LOTR movies, Sam gives Frodo that extremely gay look and Sam "straight up bricks in Frodo's mouth". My husband and I are in a battle of what "Bricking" means.

So in your opinion is Bricking in someone's mouth Jizzing (cumming) in it or is it to poop in it?

Here is the link to the scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0sc-gS9AqM

It is at the 2:37 time mark.

  • bed wetting at day care?

My 4 year old nephew has a problem with bed wetting. He has been potty trained since he was 2 and 1/2. I assumed that it was normal, I know that it is, but now the children at his daycare are making fun of him when he wets himself during nap time.

My sister has talked to him and told him that some times kids can be mean and that accidents are okay, but he is going to start kindergarten soon and we don't want to have a big problem then.

What are some tricks you mommies have to help your kid stop bedwetting? We already are using the obvious no drink for 2 hours before bed or nap time, but what else is there?

  • Y! Answers should crack down on trolls?

I am sick and tired of people using this website for games. This isn't a website for people to goof around and make fun of things. I love using this website to help people who have legitimate questions and need advice. I've also asked plenty of questions that I needed help with.

I think that Y!Answers should crack down on trolls. I think that if you are reported for trolling you should be kicked off.

Does anyone agree? and How can we help cut back on this problem ourselves?

  • My husband is a good wrestling writer...?

My husband is obsessed with wrestling. We watch it probably like 3 times a week.

He is also part of many forums online where he completes by writing matches and beating others.

I've read his matches, I'm no expert, but he is really good. He has won a lot of the titles online.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I could send a copy of his matches so it could be looked at by some head honchos of RAW or Smackdown.

I doubt he will become famous, but I'd like to send them in. He loves doing it and I just think it would be nice to do for him.

Please don't give any stupid answers!

  • Married Couples: How much sex do you have?

My husband and I are coming up on our first wedding anniversary.

I am just wondering if our sex life is normal compared to other married couples out there.

We can hardly ever have sex because of an IUD complication, but we still remain intimate in other ways. Problem is we are only averaging about 4 sexual encounters a month. Is a week an average amount for most married couples early into their marriage.

I am worried that my husband is feeling neglected and not telling me. I don't worry that he'll stray, I just want to make sure that I shouldn't try to make more time for intimacy.

  • I need an easy beef stew recipe?

I want to make beef stew. But last time I followed the recipe on the back of a swanson's broth container it was gross. I also over cooked it.

Does anyone have an easy recipe that doesn't require a lot of herbs and spices. I only have some pepper, salt, steak rub, powdered ranch, and chicken rub.

I want to only put potatoes, celery, carrots, and beef In it.

  • I save my 5 month olds baby food jars. What are some nifty ways to reuse them?

I use them to mix her cereal in so I know I don't overfeed her. I also use them to put formula in to carry in her diaper bag instead of buying a formula dispenser, but I don't know what else I could use them for.

Any ideas for crafts or other nifty things?
