What is proper attire for a Jewish widow at her husband's funeral?
By tradition, not many people wear all black. I understand you need to be modest. A woman isn't supposed to go to the hair dresser, and is only supposed to groom in the minimal sense, what is necessary hygiene. She is to cover her mirrors because vanity should be the last thing on her mind. And she will rip an article of clothing, meaning life will never be the same again. Some of these rituals and traditions are to help speed the morning process.

I am wanting to know because I want to be sensitive to a few women that I know who are now without their husbands. I am also asking because it's time to start making out Holiday cards and addressing them.
2 AnswersEtiquette9 years agowhat is your striking point when you run, and what running shoe do you recommend?
I have seen the Newton running shoes, which seem phenomenal, however, I am not a constant avid runner. I mix up my activities with walking and the elliptical. However, a few times a week I like to get out and jog, but nothing too hard-core. Basically, I call it a toe-tap. I'm not really lifting my knees and coming down hard. I just like to keep myself moving through the latter half of middle-age and menopause. Could 'you' recommend a running shoe and why?

4 AnswersHockey1 decade agoTo stem or not to stem?
So, i talk with my hands quite a bit, and have been known to make wine glasses come crashing down and cause alcohol abuse via spillage. Since, i have come across stemless wine glasses and have not had any incidents. However, i do keep various styles of traditional wine glasses available for guests. I prefer the stemless kind for reasons i stated. One of my guests said that i shouldn't do this because it changes the wine, so you won't get the proper effect while enjoying it. I am not really a wine snob, i pretty much like whatever i happen to be trying out, or what anyone would recommend. So, please help me shed some light on this quandary???

Just to get more points and look like a top contributor? Just wondering, because for as much time as I spend on this thing, I still do not have enough time. I actually set an alarm that tells me, I've been on this way too long. I have 20 minutes left :))
3 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoDon't you find it disturbing when Y Q suggest that you used "too much" Punctuation?
I don't mind the misspell pop-ups, but c'mon, I intended to use punctuation; especially since one cannot bold-en, underline or italicize their responses. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!
? How's that for too much punctuation?
No, am not angry, just annoyed :))

3 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agowhat is the best type of beer for a crock-pot?
I want to make a few meals in a crock pot that call for beer, but the book does not specifically say which brand or style. A pub I go to frequently uses Miller Genuine for their Fish n' Chips. The meals I want to make are Ribs and Brats.
3 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoIs anyone allowed to grant points to another member for answering, or is it just done by the system?
Am just curious because some people will post a question, and grant "X" amount of points to anyone with the best answer. Please only answer 'if' you really know. If you see the correct answer, give it a thumbs up. I do not really want to sift through a ton of responses.
Thank You Kindly :))

If you have any real great, but simple next-day Turkey meals, and that also can be done in a crock pot, please let me know. I'd hate to toss out good meat.
