Why is the C-word so bad?
It seems that it's the worst word to say about someone. I remember in the past that I had such an ill feeling towards a woman who played me for a fool and manipulated me that I called her a "see you next Tuesday." I remember people in my family complaining about me calling her that, and I said that "calling her a "b***h" would be an understatement."
So I make an exception to who I call that. Why is it so bad? Why is "b***h" less offensive?

It seems the older I get, the more ashamed about it I get and when I am ashamed I get really defensive about it. I feel like I am behind when it comes to sex. So should I get it over with?
4 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years agoI turn 30 in a few months and I still have not had sex. Should I pay for it or get it over with ASAP?

1 AnswerSingles & Dating5 years agoIs it common for women to fabricate a sexual harassment claim and still be believed? I was a victim of something like this.?
Here is what I mean: More than a year ago, I was accused of allegedly harassing a female employee at a record store that I used to shop at. The store manager had told me that I supposedly followed a girl everywhere, which was news to me when I was told. For some reason, I was given the number to HR by the manager. I talked to HR right after leaving the store. He had told me some things that I allegedly done that don't remotely match my behavior, such as licking lips, leering/staring and the most far-fetched one of them all, following someone home.
The weird thing about this was that I was in that store three days before, and there was not a single mention about the alleged harassment, at least not while I was there. I just went in there to pick up holds and then left shortly after. Not to mention that I was not in there for two weeks prior to that visit.
Two months later, I spoke to the district manager, and she said that I had allegedly made inappropriate comments and stood really close to an employee. Then she later told me that there were two employees who I allegedly harassed, which was news to me at that point. Then a week later, I called HR again, and then got everything off my chest, and it also turned into a rant. I even told the DM and the HR manager that I had recounted all of my visits up to that point, so much that I got the specific dates and remembered what I had bought on those days.
Is this a common thing at all? To make up a complaint like that I mean?

3 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoDo fit women usually like guys are fit as well?
I have a question regarding this. There is this girl who I have a crush at my gym, and I can see that she is rather fit. In fact, she is a representative of Herbalife. Now I am going to say this right now, we have spoken before on different occasions. We're friendly, she seems really cool, and is often quick to say hi to me and whatnot.
However, I try to also keep an eye open for a few things. I am attracted to this girl, but the question in my mind is if women who are in that great of shape usually prefer men who are as fit.
Now I do go to the gym to work out and I have a regimen. I don't go to look at attractive women or anything like that. I lift weights and do cardiovascular exercises as well. However, I am not in that great of shape. Sure, I am toned on my arms and such, but I have a gut as well. So I am also a little chubby.
Do you think women like her would more than likely prefer a guy who is on the same level as she is? Or should I just see for myself?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoI worked out harder recently, and I think it was because I saw my gym crush in a swimsuit. Is this a normal or common thing?
A couple of days ago, I felt extra motivated in my workout, and it was because of a woman who I have a crush on at my gym. Now I have spoken to her before, and she is nice to me.
However, I saw her and a friend of hers go swimming in a lap pool and I was rather turned on by seeing her in a swimsuit. I felt an adrenaline rush and got pumped up. I started to work out a little harder. It was mostly because I liked what I saw when seeing her in a swimsuit. It got me a little excited to the point of me feeling my energy go through the roof. I had worked out harder than usual, and I usually work out pretty hard. It's like the excitement from seeing her in a state of undress really revved me up to high gear.
Is this a common thing?

Singles & Dating6 years agoCan anybody help me with hooking up a digital antenna for a TV?
So I tried hooking up an antenna for a TV that's in a room so that I can get local channels. I tried looking at the instructions and I following each step. However, I am having trouble getting a signal. What's the deal?
2 AnswersTiVO & DVRs6 years agoCan anybody help me with a name of this guy? He used to be on some religious type of show.?
Back in the 1990s, I remember a show on a local channel that had that this old man. He sat in a chair in front of a book shelf and the walls were light blue. He would talk about Christian-related stuff. He would even read a book at times.
I didn't watch the show, but I remember catching glimpses of it when flipping through channels. What was the man's name?
1 AnswerTalk Shows6 years agoOkay, women, how important is a guy's dating resume or history to you?
So I am 28 and I don't really have much dating experience. I have dated before, but it didn't last for more than two months. Other women were mostly in the "talking" stages or just one-date women. I have never been in anything long term, nor have I done anything "private."
Being that people my age are married or have been in LTR's, I feel behind. So how important do you think a guy's dating history is to you? As for sex, should I pay a prostitute?
5 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoIs seven years too big of a gap?
I am 28 and I am interested in a girl who I found out recently is 21. Is that too big of a gap? I am interested in this girl, but I wonder if that is too big of a difference in age.
9 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoWhat is the deal with this waitress? Can somebody tell me?
I have had a crush on this waitress for a while, and I have chatted with her a bit when I ran into her at school in the past. I treat her with respect as she does with me. However, yesterday I was at the restaurant she waits tables at with my dad for breakfast. I noticed that she knows my dad and my orders because we order the same thing quite often when we go in there. She also remembered how I like my eggs and my steak cooked. Not that odd because it's a frequent occurrence when I eat there.
However, my dad told me that she got a little smiley with me. I tried to tell him that she is doing her job and she probably does that with a lot of her customers, but he told me that she was kind of smiling at me. I mostly played it cool, though.
Also, when we were done, she asked if we would be back again during the weekend and we said that we don't know.
What do you think this means? Some of you may say that she is just doing her job and it is part of the policy, but in some ways, I can't tell if she was doing her job or maybe she might have been more friendly with me because of something else. I did say that I like her and I do want to get to know on a personal level, but I wonder what the deal was.
7 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoI made eye contact with this girl twice at the gym. What do you think this meant?
Okay, there is this girl at the gym who caught my attention a while ago, but I have not said a single word to her yet.
We have made eye contact with each other before, but usually result in a smile or polite smirk. That's pretty much it. However, today, and I had not seen this girl for two weeks, and for about a month now, I mostly see her once a week because of a different schedule I have. Today, we made eye contact with each other, but it's one of those moments where I catch her looking in my direct and I make a quick glance. That was it.
However, it happened again later on when I think she was leaving and I was in the middle of doing sit-ups and I caught her looking in my direction from a distance. This isn't the first time that this has happened, by the way. However, it had been a couple of weeks since I've seen her and even the last time I saw her, I don't recall paying much attention to her. I don't stare at her. I may make a glance, but I still maintain my focus on my workout.
What do you think the deal was? Like I said, it had been a couple of weeks since I had last seen her, and yet I noticed her kind of looking at me from a distance.
