Amazing !!

My friend is a truck driver and just recently got a truck that he is buying from a company that is supposed to pay him for loads and all the expenses (truck payment, gas, maintenance, tolls etc..) are to be taken out of his paycheck every week.

Problem is that the company isn't giving him the loads he needs to make money and not only hasn't he recieved a dime for driving the last three weeks they are saying he still owes them money.

He was hired as a solo driver and was told he would make approximately 2K every 2 weeks after all his expenses. The owner of this company is now telling him that the only way he is going to make money is if he hires a driver ( so they can drive twice as long each day and make more miles).

My friend has talked to another of their drivers and he says its happening to him also and he knows of three other drivers who are getting the same treatment.

Is there a legal action case here? What can he do?

I LOVE this home I found and it is a rent to own. It needs a lot of repairs though. What can I negotiate as far as money and repairs with the owner of the home now?

This is a basic list of repairs needed.

1. Floors are slightly tilted and the carpet has to be torn out ...it is too gross to clean.

2. A few of the windows need replaced...broken.

3. Needs a fridge and stove and a stove vent.

4. holes in the walls.

5. garbage inside and outside that needs hauled off.

6. fireplace needs cleaned and bricks need fixed.

7. AC unit is humongous and I am pretty sure its an old one that needs replaced.

8. Toilet missing in one bathroom.

9. Tub in one bathroom has been spray painted black so it needs replaced.

Can I negotiate any of this or is it wishful thinking?

I made a sample cake using marshmallow fondant but when I cut the cake it was so elastic it wouldn't cut smoothly and was tearing the cake apart. Anyone have a recipe that doesn't do that?

My daughters boyfriend leaves a room even for a minute and his son screams and screams until he comes back. Any ideas on how to break him of this?

When I paint homes the other workmen...appliance, carpet etc...come in and mess up the walls! Is there a way that I can make them fix what they messed up? These jobs are taking too much time when I have to go back several times to fix things I didn't do. Or am I just stuck with doing it and keeping my mouth shut?

I live in Washington State and own a small painting business (three employees). My problem is that I pay taxes on what the company earns and then when I pay myself I have to pay taxes again. Is there a way of getting around paying them twice?

My aunt submitted all her genealogy info to the mormon website when she died. I can only find certain people but what I am looking for is the children and siblings. I know she had them listed in her own notes. Can I find them on familysearch.com without knowing their names?

I want to eliminate a problem. I just remembered a couple of months ago the engine overheated in my car and I have been having issues with the coolant before and since but I have not allowed it to overheat again.

Is it possible that a head gasket cracked when it overheated a few months ago or if that had happened would it have stopped the car right away? What other ways can a head gasket crack?

It sounds like metal on metal and stops when the car starts. ok the real problem is that it the car just quit working. I tried to start it and it clicked but wouldn't turn over. I have been having coolant issues with it and although it hasn't overheated I have had to refill the coolant quite a bit until this last week when it all of a sudden quit losing the coolant. My brother tried to turn some bearing and it wouldn't turn so he said he thinks the engine is locked up and that there might be coolant in one of the cylinders. its a 1995 olds aurora V-8.

Can I get some guesstimates on what the problem is and what it might cost to fix or if I should just get a new car?

My daughters lumina ran out of gas so she put a gallon in and it drove about 10 feet and stopped. She put more in and it kept doing the same thing. Does this sound like she just needs a new fuel filter and maybe a fuel injector cleaner or does it sound like she needs a new fuel pump or what?

Anyone know of any work at home websites that don't cost money to get hired?

That God existed?

Someone just posted a question asking people to prove that God does not exist. I was blown away at the comments from all the people who asked to prove that God does exist. Below is what I wrote to that person who asked and in it is included how I knew for sure that God existed. I would like to hear about your experience too!

WOW, I am amazed at all the non-believers who are asking for proof that He does exist.

No one should have to prove that God does or does not exist, it is all a matter of faith and what your head and heart believe.

Here is my proof that He exists...A man invaded my home one night and he tied me up and beat me severely and when I finally decided I needed to ask for help I closed my eyes and said "GOD PLEASE HELP ME" to myself. I immediately opened my eyes and looked into the eyes of this man who was hovering over me and he looked like the worst evil I could have ever imagined and I watched his eyes clear...like a thin film had been covering them...and he looked at me and said "Oh sh** what am I doing, I'm sorry". He then got up and walked out of my house.

Now, this is my proof that He lives and I don't expect anyone else to believe it and that is ok, because I am the only one who really has too. My faith comes from within and although I did not ask God for proof that He lives...He gave it to me anyway. I already believed in God so it was more of a blessing that He showed me.

Do I know why God just doesn't show everyone right now? Do I know why God chose to save me that night and not the tiny child whose mama's bf beat her to death? No, I don't but I think to each his own time and faith as small as a mustard seed.

Not necessarily statistics but how are the schools and housing. Bad neighborhoods? people? etc...
