I just heard about this and it is very upsetting if true. Federal agents are suppose to be able to inspect homes of smokers, gun holders, moms under 21 and a host of other "reasons". Anyone heard anything about this? Please, I really hope this is not true!

This has to be the most outrageous situation I have ever heard about in this country. I just heard about two of these happening in Florida yesterday. Today it hit the front page of Yahoo! People paid cash for their homes and the banks are foreclosing on them???? What the hell is going on? Sounds like the communist have already taken over! Bank of America seems to be the biggest culprit in this. I have been a customer of theirs for many years, I will be closing ALL my accounts. This is the last straw with them. They are completely out of line!

To all the people that think taxing the rich is the way to go...be careful what you ask for. Every business that will have its taxes increased in Jan., will have to pass that increase on to the customer. Rich people will not be out of pocket and businesses cannot be out of pocket. Also, what do you think your employer will do to cover the expense of extra taxes? Cut your pay, let you go?

These are not the only implications of raising taxes. The poor will get poorer and the middle class will slide down a rung or two.

You may be kicking yourself in the butt come Jan if the taxes go up.

I have noticed on Ebay that many fabric items are being made with Longaberger fabric, but I have been unable to find a place to purchase the material. What is so special about this fabric anyway? Any information, greatly appreciated!!

When the Democrats had the majority the last two years Bush was in office? I find it hard to believe that people blast Bush when prosperity was very good for most of the Nation during Bush's terms. The country started going downhill after the Democrats took hold. How can the Democrats justify it when they blame Bush for what has happened? Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac started the country's downfall. Bush tried to get answers about the condition of these two and the Democrats lied and told him all was well with them financially. Then, shortly thereafter, they fell.

Why?

That they have to make up stories about racism? The liberal media, CNN, etc. are having a field day with it. Remember these are also the same outlets that helped get Obama elected. So they apparently have something to gain by keeping the Dems in power. Bush haters had ugly bumper stickers made up about him, signs depicting him as Hitler, etc. And the liberal media said nothing. Yep, they are slandering the good people of this country, labeling them as racists. I think the NAACP and the other "blacks only" organizations, need to look into their own hearts.

an experienced businessman or woman? As I watch President Obama try and stave off disaster until after the elections this year, and with him having absolutely no experience in business at all, that we need someone that has political experience, but more importantly, a proven business background. There is no way that our current President will pull us out of the mess we are in by borrowing and spending. Next year will be worse than we have experienced so far.

I took a telephone poll a few minutes ago asking me about Mitt Romney for President. I looked into his record and he seems the logical choice to get this country back on the right track. ( Out of any other choices!) Do you agree or not and why?

Obama is sending $2 Billion to Brazil so they can dig even deeper for oil in the ocean. Putting Americans out of work before all the facts are in and the investigations are still ongoing about what really happened on the rig. Don't you think that they will be using the same techniques to drill that they used in our waters, except it will be riskier because Brazil will be going many times deeper in their explorations? Sounds kind of hypocritical to me. What do you think?

I have never seen our country more divided than it is now under the Obama Administration. Is this what this Administration is trying to do? Divide and conquer? United we Stand, Divided we Fall...

Total financial collapse of our country will bring what changes? And is this not how every other country in the world has brought about communism and socialism? Does anyone else believe that there is something much bigger going on than some bad mortgages and a greedy Wall Street? I think it runs much deeper and that we are really headed for trouble here. Our forefathers and all those that died in the American Revolution must be rolling in their graves over Americans letting this happen to our great Country. What ever happened to our backbone? Just reading over some of the revisions to the health care bill. Numbers are thrown all over the place, helter skelter.

What does this have to do with health care?

Sec. 1408. Elimination of unintended application of cellulosic biofuel producer credit. Adds an additional revenue provision. In 2008, Congress enacted a $1.01 per gallon tax credit for the production of biofuel from cellulosic feedstocks in order to encourage the development of new production capacity for biofuels that are not derived from food source materials. Congress is aware that some taxpayers are seeking to claim the cellulosic biofuel tax credit for unprocessed fuels, such as black liquor. The provision would limit eligibility for the tax credit to processed fuels (i.e., fuels that could be used in a car engine or in a home heating application).

Sec. 1501. TAA for communities. Appropriates $500 Million a year for fiscal years 2010 through 2014 in the Community College and Career Training Grant program for community colleges to develop and improve educational or career training programs. Ensures that each state receives at least 0.5 percent of the total funds appropriated.

Section 2101. Federal Pell Grants. Amends the Higher Education Act to include mandatory funding for the Pell Grant. This provides additional mandatory funding to augment funds appropriated to increase the federal maximum Pell Grant award by the change in the Consumer Price Index. The mandatory component of the funding is determined by inflating the previous year’s total and subtracting the maximum award provided for in the appropriations act for the previous year or $4860, whichever is greater. Beginning in the 2018-2019 academic year, the maximum Pell award will be at the 2017-2018 level.

Section 2102. Student Financial Assistance. This section provides $13.5 billion in mandatory appropriations to the Federal Pell Grant program.

Section 2103. College Access Challenge Grant Program. This section amends section 786 of the Higher Education Act by authorizing and appropriating $150 million for fiscal years 2010 through 2014 for the College Access Challenge Grant program created under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007. Provides that the allotment for each State under this section for a fiscal year shall not be an amount that is less than 1.0 percent of the total amount appropriated for a fiscal year.

Section 2104. Investment in Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions. This section amends section 371(b) of the Higher Education Act by extending funding for programs under this section created under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007 for programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities and minority-serving institutions through 2019, including programs that help low-income students attain degrees in the fields of science, technology, engineering or mathematics by the following annual amounts: $100 million to Hispanic Serving Institutions, $85 million to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, $15 million to Predominantly Black Institutions, $30 million to Tribal Colleges and Universities, $15 million to Alaska, Hawaiian Native Institutions, $5 million to Asian American and Pacific Islander Institutions, and $5 million to Native American non-tribal serving institutions.

And this is not all that is in this bill. I think this bill is the biggest joke ever pulled on the American people. These corrupt idiots have thrown all kinds of crap in this bill that has nothing to do with health care. And it is going to costs of our futures. People need to wake up....we are losing control of our country!

Having spent three weeks in a hospital in Naples, Florida with my wife I couldn’t help noticing what was going on in the hospital and I had a lot of time to talk to the doctors and nurses about what I had observed. Below is a commentary from an ER Doctor. Do you think this might be a big reason our health care system and our social security system are so screwed up? Do you think this might be a big reason our taxes keep going up? Who do you think these people are going to vote for?

From a Florida ER doctor:

"I live and work in a state overrun with illegals. They make more money having kids than we earn working full-time. Today I had a 25-year old with 8 kids - that’s right 8; all illegal anchor babies and she had the nicest nails, cell phone, hand bag, clothing, etc. She makes about $1,500 monthly for each; you do the math. I used to say, “We are the dumbest nation on earth.” Now I must say and sadly admit: WE are the dumbest people on earth (that includes ME) for we elected the idiot idealogues who have passed the bills that allow this. Sorry, but we need a revolution. Vote them all out in 2010. "

If the immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004.

She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22.'

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month.

This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012 and the pensioners up to $2,470. Then we can enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years. And not to receive a increase for 2010 Vote them all out of office…….

Have you read his proposal? Looks to me like the same bill they were trying to pass last year, he just changed a few numbers between the House and Senate bills. Still, no specifics. How much are premiums, deductibles, out of pocket expenses? People thought Medicare was a good idea too, and its about bankrupt. Can we expect anything better from them now? After all, every program they have ever implemented has gone belly up.

Government out of control spending, already in debt up to our ears and our grandchildren's ears, people losing homes, jobs, everything. People hungry. Sold out our country's soul to foreign lenders. But, the federal workers get their raises. How wonderful. Do you believe they should be getting raises when they are making over $50,000 a year average?

The breaker to our heat strip in our AC unit was giving off a very bad "fishy" odor inside our home and felt a little too warm to the touch. We called an electrician out and he changed the breaker from 45 amp with 8 gauge wire to 60 amp, 6 gauge wire. He checked and the unit is pulling 42 amps now. He told us he has no idea why there was a "fishy" smell coming from the old breaker. A week later we are again getting the "fishy" odor coming from the breaker box. Everything feels cool or just barely warm if in use, inside the breaker box. Do we still have a problem here? This electrician has many years of experience and has done alot of work for us over the years. We are really worried about the odor and possible fire from the box. Does anyone have any idea what is going on and what should be done to correct a problem?

I have the light installed in my yard on a pole and just noticed that it goes off and on during the night. Just installed last year. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? Should I call an electrician or is the light bad? Thanks!

I have suffered with them all my life. I have ended up in the ER several times they were so severe. Tried all the medications on the market with no results. I will tell you what I have found that stops my migranes in their tracks. It works for me, and hopefully it will work for others too. One day when I was getting that darn aura in my left eye, I knew what was coming! I always grabbed a pain med, like Tylenol and hit the sack until its over, wishing I were dead. Anyway, this time I took a Chlor-Trimeton tablet (for allergies) because they make me so sleepy and I figured I could relax better taking one.

I was so surprised! The aura always last about 30 minutes and then the pain hits. This time, the aura went away and my head was just a little tender, but no pain.

I have used this method many times, and actually just today and it worked. Aura gone, no pain, just a little tenderness in my head when I cough or bend over. (This I can handle).

I buy the store brand, which is cheaper. You can get it at any store. The drug name is chlorpheniramine. Even though it is over the counter, you may want to check with your doctor about taking it.

I do not know what may cause your migrane attacks. Mine are triggered by many things, caffienated coffee, fluorescent lights that flicker, the sun, etc.

I just had another attack this morning, and I know it was from all the caffienated coffee I drank over the Holidays trying to make it through all I had to do. Because, I really have not had one in a long, long time. The pill worked great and after the aura left, I was off to do some shopping. The pill can make you a little groggy, but heck, if it takes the pain away, I am happy!!

Why didn't our government handle the stimulus money the same way? China did not bail out banks and give it to corporations to waste. They built roads, airports, made major infrastructure changes. Created thousands of jobs. It worked great! Are we always destined to follow the bad examples in history instead of paying attention to processes that have worked and really making a change for the better?

The expedited trial has been set for Jan. 26, 2010!

Many concerned veterans and citizens attended the hearing in Federal Court in Santa Ana in the lawsuit against Barack Obama to determine his eligibility to be President and Commander in Chief. About 150 people showed up, almost all in support of the lawsuit to demand that Obama release his birth certificate and other records that he has hidden from the American people.

Judge David Carter refused to hear Obama's request for dismissal. He indicated there was almost no chance that this case would be dismissed. Obama is arguing this lawsuit was filed in the wrong court if you can believe that. Obama would prefer a "kangaroo court" instead of a Federal court! Assuming Judge Carter denies Obama's motion for dismissal, he will likely then order expedited discovery which will force Obama to release his birth certificate in a timely manner (if he has one).

The judge, WHO IS A FORMER U.S. MARINE, repeated several times that this is A VERY SERIOUS CASE which must be resolved quickly so that the troops know that their Commander in Chief is eligible to hold that position and issue lawful orders to our military in this time of war. He basically said OBAMA MUST PROVE HIS ELIGIBILITY to the court! He said Americans deserve to know the truth about their President!

The two U.S. Attorneys representing Barack Obama tried everything they could to sway the judge that this case was frivolous, but Carter would have none of it and cut them off several times. Obama's attorneys left the courtroom after about the 90 minute hearing looking defeated and nervous.

Great day in America for the U.S. Constitution! The truth about Barack Obama's eligibility will be known fairly soon - Judge Carter practically guaranteed it!

Duval County, FL. The contractors building the new court house were caught with 100 illegal immigrants working at the site! So many Americans out of work and these idiots are hiring illegals! Will there ever be common sense in this country again? I have a friend that has looked for work for 6 months. Filled out applications everywhere. I think these contractors should have their licenses revoked and fired from the job. What do you think?

And Obama will probably attend this meeting in December. Anyone with up to date information on this treaty? I would like to read it.
