What are your views on crime and punishment in the USA?

We have record crime overwhelming this Country. Why do we let our convicted criminals get off so easy?

Incarceration is not helping and is costly.

I'm not saying cut off someones hand for stealing, although it is more effective and less costly. Hummmmm!!!

There is always too much food although I did fix a small (8 piece) organic fruit basket with small packs of organic dried fruit mixed in.

I don't want to send a card because I found out late and the funeral was this morning. I missed it because of being short

handed at work.

I don't know if a card arriving in a day or two, wouldn't just be another reminder.

I don't want to lose my focus on God. I have always been prone to procrastination. I haven't had a strong desire to pick up a Bible in days. I have prayed pretty much daily but I keep loosing focus. This may seem an insignificant thing, but I would apreciate any helpful advice and/or prayers.

I was reading a news story that said 2 dozen States will decide and end the chaos by Feb. 5th. If so, what States get to vote? I am new to politics so pardon my ignorance.

I have been so good this holiday about eating healthy and avoiding snacks. BUT, I have been craving fresh hot glazed donuts from Krispy Kreme for weeks now. I have even dreamed of them. I know it sounds silly, but I just HAVE to have one or more.

I think I could possibly consume 6 in one sitting , but don't know if I can eat 12. Should I see if it is humanly possible for me to eat 12?

Should I stop at satifaction, or pig out and get it out of my system? OR, should I keep on avoiding them though they call out to my inner being?

My husband and I love to go out to the movies, restraunts, etc.

But every where we go we get stuck near someones ill behaved child. We don't like to go to bars and such but are considering doing just that to get away from other peoples children. Most people think us to be hateful because we don't want to be bothered with other peoples children in public.

Surely we aren't the only ones who feel this way. We just want to have some good clean fun in a child free setting. Any suggestions on where to escape them besides bars, casinos, or houses of ill repute?

A woman drove across a highway median and hit my truck. It was totaled and I am having ongoing back problems now. She has no insurance, property, or even job. I only ended up with bluebook value on my just paid off vehicle and actual out of pocket medical cost due to having an uninsured motorist policy myself. I probably won't collect for 4 days missed work or pain and suffering since she is on disability / welfare.

On the police report it says that she admitted to the officer that she had taken 3 puffs of cocaine and it caused a panic attack. So, not only did she fail the feild sobrity test for alchohol, she was smoking crack while driving!!!

I would like to prosicute her criminally in such a way as to keep her from getting back her drivers license until she pays me for my time missed at work and pain and suffering.

I have a civil judgement, but as they say you can't draw blood from a turnip. I just want to keep her off the road as long as possible so no one else suffers.

I have an Acer Aspire 5315-2153 and I can't find any help on thier wesite. I am used to my desktop monitor havining controls on it. I can't find the controls on this this thing. I am running Vista Home Basic. I have not figured it out either. All I find in the help menus is for desktops. Also, is there a special mouse to use for laptops? None of my 3 mouse cables fit the laptop. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks!

Yesterday we bought me a new car since my truck was totaled in an accident. I work 3rd shift and was sleeping soundly until I heard my new cars panic alarm. I get up and to the window just in time to see him driving away to an unknown destination. My belongings were inside the car such as, Drivers licence, favorite jacket, ciggs, and other misc. items. I called him about 10 times on his cell and he didn't answer. Finnally he calls back and I find out he has taken it to show it off to MY parents. I wanted to have that joy, but noooo he always steals my joy over such things. I'm thinking about going shopping because although my debit card is in the new car, the credit card is at home with me and I have the key to his car. Also he does not smoke and I am thinking about chain smoking sitting in his car just to tick him off. Is this terrible of me to think about such revenge?

How long before the senario quits playing over and over in your head?

Tuesday night, I was hit head on by a drunk driver going about 55mph., thrown into a guard rail, then hit by a semi truck as I rebounded from the guard rail. Finnally, I was dragged in my truck under the bed of the semi until it came to a stop. I did not have a scratch on me, unless you count emotional trauma. I just wish I could stop the scene playing over and over in my head. And that smell of blown air bag. I still smell that.

Last night on the democratic debate Hillary was asked what her favorite bible verse was. Her response was "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". This is NOT even a bible verse. It is the golden rule, but is not a bible verse.
