Aaaaah what to say what to say. erm. I'm me. I'm 17. But one thing that really annoys me is that people look at me for my age. Just because I'm 17 doesn't mean you shouldn't value my opinion. Rant over. I'm addicted to Y/A P&S is by far the best category. I want to be level 5 as soon as possible so I don't have to put up with anymore daily limits. They ruin my day.

  • How would I make a dress like this?

I've made a few dresses before so I know the basics and everything, but I can't work out how to make a dress like this: http://www.weddingdressgallery.net/tag/grecian-wed...

Obviously I don't want it so wedding-y so I'll adapt it a bit, but how do you make those sides bits in particular? Anyone got any links for a pattern or something?

  • Can you help me with my car stereo system?

I just bought a new car (I mean not new but new for me) and the stereo wasn't wired up so I bought a new stereo and got it fitted at Halford's. I've got two little speakers in the front of the car and two bigger ones in the doors of the car. Now sound is only coming out of the left small one and sometimes the left big one, nothing out of the right ones but also the sound coming out of the left big one is really distorted. I don't know what to do about this at all!! I can't live with the sound coming out of that one tiny speaker!!

  • My fiance won't let me do anything!?

I don't mean for myself. It's a bit of a weird one, and I bet people will read this wishing they were engaged to him but it's really hard, trust me. My fiance does everything around the house. He won't let me do anything because he says I don't do it right (ie his way). Then when he's been doing housework he'll make sure I know that he's really tired and moan that I didn't do anything. When I try to do something he just gets in my face. Like today he'd cleaned the bathroom, done the hoovering, washed up and generally tidied so I said right I'll cook you some tea then. I started cooking tea and then he came into the kitchen and started poking around at everything and getting stuff out of the oven. I told him to sit down because he'd worked hard and I was making him tea as a sort of thankyou and he was like 'I just want to check it' and I said why, I'm perfectly capable of cooking some sausages and then he goes ' Well you just make silly mistakes sometimes' (I don't even know what that is in reference to- I love cooking and baking and do it all the time and he's more than happy to eat it then) so I tried to carry on with him poking his nose in all the time, the whole time trying to get him to go out of the kitchen cos it's only tiny and he was getting in the way and then I started dishing out the potatoes and he got out a saucepan and I was like what's that for and he said it's for the peas cos you forgot to do them! Now he's the only one that eats the peas and how on earth am I supposed to remember to do anything with him up in my face telling me how to do stuff and checking on stuff just after I'd checked on it. This is just one example, he never lets me do anything because 'I'm not good enough'. God help me, what am I supposed to do about this?!

  • Does this sound like a scam?

I've seen an advert for a car that I'm really interested in. The seller hasn't left a phone number, only an email address. He says he's selling the car because he's moving back to Spain and can't drive it there. I got a check done on it and everything's fine as far as it can tell. They only thing that worries me is that he hasn't given a phone number and the photo of the car was taken in a field, not infront of a house or something. What do you reckon?

  • Should I buy this car?

All my life I've wanted a 5 door purple polo, but I'm not made of money so it's hard to get one! Today I found one for £1400, a 52 plate. Now we all know there's probably a bit of leeway on the price and plus I've got a cheap one I can part ex so if we round that off to £1000...

Problem is it's got 150,000 miles on the clock. I usually do about 300 miles a week, do you think that's going to be a huge problem? I only have about £1000, max £1200 to spend on a car and need to get one by February as it won't pass the MOT! Would you buy it in my situation?

  • Does anybody work in Ernest Jones?

I work in Ernest Jones, part time. I've only been employed a couple of months but I really like it and I'm looking to make it full time but I need to know I can afford to live like that and give up everything else I'm doing. So what's a basic salary for a store associate working full time?

  • Does this sound like a good idea?

I have to arrange Bartok's Evening in the Country for this group of instruments: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Sax, Bassoon, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, violin, Cello, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Piano. (Stupid I know!) So obviously it's not going to sound very good trying to get all the instruments in at once because it's supposed to be a simple piece so I've come up with a plan. I wanted to do like a Cori Spezzati kind of thing and have all the woodwind and strings (maybe minus guitars) in one group playing the slow sections and have the brass and other loud instruments in another group playing the fast sections. What do you reckon?

  • how much liberty can you take with an arrangement?

I need to arrange Bartok's Evening in the Country for a really really weird group of instruments. I just wanted to know how much you can change. Can you change the time signature for example, or the melody? Can you add new bits in yourself? And also, has anyone ever heard an arrangement for any group other than piano and where can I hear it?

  • How good are spanx pants?

I'm going out on Saturday and I have quite a tight fitting dress that at the minute I'm not overly happy with around my middle. It's almost there but not quite, I'd say a couple of inches too big. Are Spanx going to pull my stomach in by a couple of inches so I can wear the dress? Or am I better off spending my money on a new dress?

  • What shall I wear to a burlesque party?

I don't want to go wearing a basque or a corset or any kind of lingerie! I've got to get the train to this place! I've found a mini top hat and a feather boa which I'm going to wear but I need a dress to wear with it and I'm not exactly sure what to go for. I make quite a lot of my own clothes so even a style idea would be good and I could work on that, I've got time to make a dress before the party. I was thinking of something along this style

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rockabilly-Pink-Polka-Dot-Vi...

but I'm not all that into wearing really tight clothes so has anyone got any looser fitting suggestions?

Thanks for taking your time to read this massive question!

  • How can I eat foods I don't like?

I know fruit and veg is very good for you, and so are things like nuts and seeds but I don't eat any of them because I can't stand them. Especially veg, I pretty much live off bread and yoghurts but now I'm lactose intolerant and my diet is becoming very restricted so I need to learn how to eat these things without gagging. Any tips?

  • Incubating bearded dragon eggs?

Our beardie is gonna have some eggs in a few days and I've got her lay bin and everything set up, and I asked in the pet shop how to incubate them and they advised to keep them under the lamp in their viv, but I just read that fluctuating temperatures can kill the eggs, so is it safe to keep them in the viv or do we need to set up a seperate place?
