I am married, I have 2 kids and political correctness aside and at the risk of sounding cheesy, I love Jesus! I also love the color burnt orange, peanut butter m&ms, and the ice at pizza hut. I am passionate about comparitive religions, and theology. I hope to become a doula or midwife in an underdevoloped country. I like tennis. I will learn to play the guitar. I love campfires, and drinking wine or beer and smoking cloves while the guys smoke cigars. There is nothing like a montana sunset. To be continued....

  • Can you give me some ideas as to what I should name my third child?

Hi, I am pregnant with my third, I don't know the sex. I have a daughter named Hazel Amor, and a son named Asher Isaiah. I like unique but not ridiculous. I also sort of like old fashioned. I just can't find any that are IT....you know. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • 9 weeks pregnant and can't stop thinking it's twins?

Okay here's the details...I'm 9 weeks pregnant, with my third. I'm already showing alot and this is way sooner than with my other 2. I also tested positive on four different tests really, really early, like 1 week 2 days post conception... From the very beginning I have felt like it could be twins, which I know is normal, but then the twin dreams started, probably a dozen dreams or so. My husband even had a twin dream.....

Anyway, I had a very early ultrasound at about 6 weeks, and I asked the lady, "So there is only one?" And she replied, "Well,, at first I really thought there were 2, but now I only am seeing one." Ahhh! I am dying to know if it is twins or not. Oh yeah, my mom was pregnant with fraternal twins and lost them both in her second trimester, so I guess it runs in the family.

Has this happened to anyone else?

  • Very Early Pregnancy Question?

I am pregnant with my third. I found out last Saturday the 19th. I thought at the time that I was 4 weeks, because I thought my last menstrual period was June 19th. After remembering back however, I realised that I was late last month, and my period started on the 24th of June. Which would have made me only 3 weeks and 2 days prego when 4 different tests said positive. So actually conception was only about 1-1 1/2 weeks prior. Has anyone else ever tested that early? Also, my last period was only 3 days long and usually is at least 5 but almost is always 6. Your opinons please. Thanks.

  • Has anyone tried getting paid for taking surveys?

I was thinking about doing this. Does it work? Is it a scam? How much do people really make? How long does it take? Any info is helpful. THanks

  • Tampa, FL vacation activities?

We are traveling to Tampa in May, all the way from Montana. We are already going to Busch Gardens, and of course I know about Disney World. We have a four yr old, and a 2 yr old. My question is about other things that my family could do, that maybe isn't as popular, but is really fun. Thank you.

  • What is everyone's first assumption about Montana or Montanans.?

I live in Montana, and was curious as to what people believed about it, or the people who live here. I ask because my mom once ran into someone in Atlanta who was surprised that we had cars, and not horse and buggys. But if that is what you thought you have to be honest. :)

  • How does Y!A R&S make you feel?

Whenever I am on here for any length of time I start to feel anxious and pretty bummed out about the racism and bigotry, the hatred and arrogance, the hypocrisy and pride....it all makes me feel a little depressed.....but it is so addicting.

It is like Grey's Anatomy I sometimes watch it but am just pissed off when it is over.

  • Unique Baby Names.?

I know this is an oft reapeated question, but I could use some suggestions on unique baby names for boys and girls. I have a daughter named Hazel Amor, and a son named Asher Isaiah. Nothing too weird like Moon Unit, but nothing common. If it is in the top 200 names it is too common by my standards. Thanks

  • Flood and the population of the world?

An analysis of population growth statistics confirms that if the flood occurred 5-6 thousand years ago it would have been entirely possible to start with eight people and come to our present population of 6 billion people. At the time of Christ = 140 million people, in the year 1000 = 280 million, in 1804 = 1 Billion, in 1927 = 2 Billion, in 1960 = 3 Billion, in 1974 = 4 Billion, in 1987 = 5 Billion, in 2000 = 6 Billion.

At our current rate of population increase of 2% per year two people could generate 3.5 billion people in only 1075 years. Since written records go back over 4,000 years, it is obvious that the average growth rate throughout past history has been considerably less than the present rate. Therefore, if the population increased at an average rate of only 1/2% you could generate the present world population in only 4000 years.

  • Does anyone on here dislike me because I love Jesus?

It seems like no matter what I ask or answer sometimes, people automatically dislike me because I'm a christian. I happen to be a pretty awesome person. :) I have alot of friends. They aren't even all christians. Just wondering if anyone here feels that way and why? If you do, I'd like to talk to you about it, maybe we could be friends.

  • Mormons, Have you heard of the Kinderhook Plates?

If you have, what explanation do you have? If not you should read about it. "Only a false prophet translates false plates."

  • Wondering if any atheists on here have ever read Lee Strobel's, "The Case For Faith"?

Lee Strobel was an atheist. He also was a journalist. He set out to disprove christianity and eventually decided to become a christian. Anyway in The Case For Faith, he writes about what he calls the eight "heart" barriers to faith. To summarize, 1) If there is a Loving God why is there suffering? 2) If miracles contradict science, how can a rational person believe? 3) If God is morally pure, How can he sanction the slaughter of innocent children in the OT? 4) If Jesus is the only way, what about people that have never heard of Him? 5) If God cares about people, how could he let them go to hell? 6) If God is the ultimate overseer of the chruch, why has it been rife with hypocrisy and brutality throughout the ages? 7)If God really created the universe, why does the evidence of science compel so many towards evolution? 8) If I'm still plagued by doubts, then is it still possible to be a christian? Wndering if any atheists have read this book, and what they thought about it.

  • Why the arrogance?

I'll start by saying not all atheists are like this, but why are some atheists answering questions feel the need to be so insanely arrogant. I know, I know...christians are too. But I'm asking about atheists. I have read alot of answers from atheists just talking about how much smarter they are than believers. How stupid a person must be to believe such assinine things as God or Jesus or whatever. I just wanted to know what makes you think you're so smart, so much smarter than say, me. Or C.S. Lewis, or Tolken, or Wycliffe or Tyndale, or Walter Martin, or any other truly brilliant person that has believed in God. I will end this by adding that I do think alot of you are much smarter than me, because I don't think being smart has anything to do with knowing or believing in God. That is my point. Why do you make it about brains?

  • Any Former Jehovah's Witnesses?

I have been meeting with a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses about every 2 weeks or so. I've always had a passion for comparing other religions with mine. (I love Jesus.) I am quite knowledgeable in Watchtower doctrine and theology, and know why I think it's not true. I just told them last week I'm a christian and that I would love to sit and talk with them, but that I wasn't interested in becoming a JW, not ever. They said they wanted to talk anyway, so I'm meeting them this Wed. and my question is this: What got you out of the Watchtower Society??? Did you abandon all religions or just JW?? What approach would you recommend in talking to them?? Actually, especially if you have come to know Jesus, but even if you haven't, I would like to hear your stories. Thanks.
