I saw it on youtube less than a year ago.It had a guy named Martin or Marvin who had lost a lot of weight and was very obnoxious towards overweight people, and who preferred really skinny women, and said his girlfriend looked best when she was sick one time and had a really tiny waist. It also featured a young model who was having trouble finding work because of her naturally low weight. It featured a young couple where the blonde girlfriend had eating issues and she didn't like her engagement photos from Paris and boyfriend was refusing to marry her unless she got treatment. I am Jewish, first of all, not sure if that matters.A close friend of mine recently became a Christian, and became very active in her church (Calvary). I had been to this church before, and they seemed very accepting/open to other belief systems.

We were best friends for almost 10 years. Recently, she deleted me off facebook and stopped talking to me. We had no falling outs/fights. I asked her why she deleted me, and she messaged me saying that it was because I didn't go her church, she no longer "felt comfortable" being friends. I was really hurt by this, because I have always been there for her and accepted her as a person. Is this a true reason people remove friends/stop talking to them? Over religion? Because a few of my view points (ex. I am pro-gay marriage and she is not)? Or do you think there is another reason?

Recently I was told that I looked like Amy Winehouse. I took this as an insult because I think she looks unkempt, but the guy told me he thinks she is hot.

I've been living peacefully w my current roommate for about six months. However, this has since changed. Her son just returned from Iraq, and he is one of the most racist/prejudiced people I've ever met. He found out I was part Persian and now makes all sorts of "jokes" about that. He insists on referring to any guys who aren't military as "fa**ots" and is completely offensive. I find it hard to relax in my own home now (my roommate and I share a four bedroom house). On the plus side, he is only going to be home on the weekends, but even so, this is my time for respite. Does anyone have an idea about what I can say or do to help this issue ?

I have a guy in my life that I am crazy about, but I have decided it is best that we do not ever get together (he still is involved with this other girl and blah blah blah). So, I decided that until I get over him, it is best that I am not around him and that I ignore his advances and tell him honestly that I am not interested.

Well, this was fine until about two weeks ago. We often hang out at the same places, and when he sees me, he will approach me and try to flirt and do all those things that used to make me crazy (and still do) but I try not to react.

What should I do? Should I just ignore him until he decides to quit trying? Or will this make him more interested? Or should I speak to him in private about it?
