Any advice on these camcorders?
Ok, so I am a complete dunce when it comes to technology and all the technical terms associated with buying a camcorder.
I am looking into buying one of these two as sanyo was recommended by a friend and was wondering if anyone had any advice on the pros/cons and whether there is anything better out there at a similar price. (Looking at around £150)

Thanks.
1 AnswerCamcorders1 decade agoWhat format is best for windows movie maker?
I am looking at buying a video camera and I want to be able to edit the videos in movie maker. I know a couple of people who bought a video camera and then found that the videos were not compatible with movie maker - I don't want to end up in the same situation. The camera I am looking at has an SD card and records in MPEG4 format. Will that be suitable?
Thanks in advance!
4 AnswersCamcorders1 decade agoWhat to wear for film character fancy dress, possibly daisy duke?
I want something easy to do with clothes I already own or are very easy to get hold of. My best idea so far is daisy duke - i own denim shorts and a red t-shirt, but am not sure what else she wears as I haven't seen the film myself. Does she wear a cowboy hat at all? And what about cowboy boots? I have the hat but not boots. And does she wear the red t-shirt for the majority of the film or is there something else more recognisable as being daisy duke?
Any other ideas also welcome!
4 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoWhy is my printer not recognized?
I bought a canon pixma MP510 about a month ago and it has been working perfectly up until yesterday.
There was an error message saying the printer was offline, I went into the printer settings to check and set it to be online, however it still wouldn't work.
It is now saying when I plug the printer into the USB port that it is not recognized and the USB device has malfunctioned. It is not the USB port as I have tried the printer in two different computers and get the same message. I don't understand why as it was working perfectly well before.
Does this mean a problem with the printer? Do I need to send it back? Or could it be a problem with the connecting cable? Any suggestions would be great as I can't be without a printer for too long and I really need to get this sorted.
2 AnswersPrinters1 decade agoWedding hair accessories?
I have decided roughly how I want my hair for my wedding but have no idea what accessories would look best.
It will be part pinned up and the rest down and wavy, a lttle like these pictures.

As I am not having my hair all up, I think a tiara would dig in and be uncomfortable as there is nothing to attach it to and it would have to just go round my head. (Had to do this as a bridesmaid a few years ago and ended up with dents in my head by the end of the day from the band!)
I am not having a veil so that's not an issue. What could I put in my hair with this style that will look good and where would it go in he style? If you have any pictures, even better as all the ones I have found show the hairstyle unaccessorised.
8 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhat is the proper etiquette for wedding gifts?
Ok, I hate the thought of registering for gifts as it seems to me like you are asking people to give you presents and then telling them exactly what to get! My fiance and my mom told me that I'm being silly though so I will be registering for gifts.
So ok, I know that it has become perfectly acceptable with so many shops offering the wedding gift list service and we will be registering for gifts but should you put that information in with the invites or wait to see if people ask for it?
I always assumed you put it in with the invites because I know loads of people who have done that but I have since read that it's in poor taste. The article I was reading said you should wait until people enquire about a list. Then my mom said that was silly too as most people are grateful to have a list so they don't have to think about it and those who want to get something different can still do that anyway.
Help, what is the proper etiquette?
12 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoShould I find a new photographer?
My wedding photographer is due to be somebody I knew but she has told me that she is pregnant and the baby is due 3 weeks before the wedding. She said she will still do the photographs for me but I am worried that if anything goes wrong I will be stuck without a photographer. I also think that she may not feel like doing it if she has such a young baby to worry about and for her sake I don't want her being stressed.
I also don't want to offend her by just going and finding somebody else.
Any advice/suggestions please?
8 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhat is this song?
I am currently planning a wedding and I have a song that keeps going through my head but I only know a really tiny bit of it. I've no idea what it is but I think I first heard it on Home and Away a long time ago, lol!
It goes
Something old, something new, something simple but it's true....
or something like that.
does anybody know what it is? I can't get it out of my head.
2 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoWhat necklace should I wear with a wedding dress that has a halterneck, sweetheart neckline?
The wedding dress I have chosen has a neckline like the one in this picture
http://www.smartbride.com.au/images/dress/2008/MA%...
I would like to wear a necklace but am not sure what would look best, I don't want it to look too busy around the neckline.
All constructive opinions welcome - I could go without a necklace or get rid of the halterneck and have the dress strapless (the dress is not finished yet) but if possible I would like to have both.
9 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoWhere can I find pictures of a Wedding with my colour scheme (white and dark green)?
We have decided on the colours for our wedding, we just want white and dark green. I think this must be quite unusual as I am having trouble finding pictures of weddings with the same colour scheme to see what it looks like and get some inspiration. If anyone knows of any sites where I could find anything, that'd be great, thanks!

10 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoLaptop keyboard letters not working?
Hi, I spilled water on my laptop (only a small amount) and some of the keys stopped working. I left it to dry thinking it would sort itself out. Most of the keys now work but 3 still do nothing when I press them. (r,g & y)
How long should it take to dry? It's been over 24 hours.
Can a little bit of water do the damage or could the water have washed something else onto the contacts under the keys?
Does anyone have any advice/suggestions?
Am typing the missing letters with an onscreen keyboard which is ver annoying!
6 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoWhich flowers (colour and type) would go with dark green for a wedding?
I'm trying to come up with a colour scheme for my wedding and I was set on the idea of having a traditional off-white wedding dress, my bridesmaids in dark green dresses and all the flowers white with deep green foliage. The problem is that when I have said this to people, the response has been that it would be a bit colourless, particularly in the photos. I would still like my bridesmaids in dark green so my question is, what flowers would go well? Should I add another colour in there? I have tried looking for pictures of weddings with bridesmaids in dark green but have had no luck, I've come to the conclusion that it's not a popular colour!
I have spoken to a couple of florists but at the end of the day it is my decision so they haven't been able to help me.
I have asked a question here about my dress and have been given loads of good advice so thought I woud put this dilemma to everyone too!
27 AnswersEngagements & Weddings1 decade agoWhere do you start when trying to find the right wedding dress?
I want to find the perfect dress but I don't really know where to start. Everything I've read says to go into the store with an idea of what you're looking for and preferably some pictures but I don't really have a clue. Even if I do see a picture I like, how do I know if it will suit me? Then there's the problem that it will be an autumn wedding so it could be quite cold and so it will have to be a dress that I can wear something over! Aaaagh!
