An ESL student of mine has solid reading skills and is interested in many different types of fiction but doesn't know which books are good to read.What books that are well written but do not have a lot of difficult words or arcane language would you recommend?

I am going to a formal event and will be wearing a three piece charcoal grey suit with a navy blue shirt. I have ginger hair and light,freckled skin. I was thinking of a maroon tie + pocket square or an apricot colour tie + pocket square to go with the outfit. Any suggestions?

Hi. I am looking to study for a bachelor in teaching but did not get my Higher School certificate. I finished year 11 but not year 12. I am 33 years old. I was wondering if there is a way I could qualify for studying for the degree next year. Is there a G.E.D kind of thing I could do? Or would I have to finish my HSC or do Open Learning? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I have 1 years TEFL teaching experience in China if that helps at all.

Looking to fly from Sydney to Peru in October and it seems that a one way economy ticket is going to cost $2000 to $2500. Is this right? Personally I have reservations about Tinkler owning the Knights.On the one hand it would be great to have a backer with money so we have some financial clout to go with the great local talent pool we have. I also like his desire to have as many locals playing for us as possible.On the other hand I seriously don't like how he has tried to railroad Burraston and Tew and how he has basically dicked everyone around.Also criticising the current players as pretty much leftovers at the start of the season was a poor thing to do. I am sure with his money we would get some short term success, maybe even long term but possibly at the cost of the soul of the club. I'm concerned that instead of the club being part of the community it will turn into a rich man's play thing.I know we have been struggling financially since day one but is this the only way? Should we look for other options? Are there any? Just because some fella with deep pockets is throwing cash about should we all cream our pants and give him whatever he wants?Or have I been too harsh on the big fella?

I am interested in studying to become a teacher but am not sure if primary or high school teaching is for me. What other options are there? Also what qualifications are required for teaching English to newly arrived immigrants in Australia?
