  • Is it a turn off for every room in a house to have hardwood flooring?

I would think that bedrooms should be carpeted. Hardwood floors are usually cold unless they have the heating nets underneath. And in a room where you're bound to be shoeless often, shouldn't it remain carpet? Would it be bad from a selling point of view?

  • Someone is stealing my gas?

After vacationing for a week, my car has gone without use. I drove it today and noticed that there was less gas than before when I left it. I also noticed that the gas tank cover of another vehicle that belongs to one of my family members was open. This has happened before in the past and seems to be resurfacing at about the same time of year. If I'm able to catch the person doing this, am I allowed to restrain them or deter them with tools that are at my disposal? Or will I be getting a visit from state police for unlawful restraint? This is burglary and vandalism of my property and I will not tolerate it.

  • Removing paint from my deck?

My deck was painted the same ugly color as my house and I want to remove the paint and stain the deck. But the problem is, the paint seems to be immortal. I've tried chemical paint strippers, repeated power washes and I'm just about out of options. I'm currently just using a power sander to take the paint off but at this rate, I'll be done in about 6 weeks. Is there any other method that would be more fruitful than this labor intensive sanding process?

  • Should I sue my bank?

When I created my account, they told me all fees such as minimum balance fees would be waved for one year. One month later, I received my account statement showing that fees were not being waved. In fact, they were taking additional money from my account for penalties resulting from these fees. I closed it after they were unwilling to ammend these faults. I'm still recieving account statements and attached are their bills for their fees. I also found out that a relative transfered some funds last week into my account that was closed it January.I don't see how money could have been put into an account that closed 3 months ago. Should I seek legal counsel?

  • Why is there a statue of Obama in Indonesia?

I love how many holes there are with Obama's background. If he was born in Hawaii, from an underage mother and a father in Kenya, then went to school in Indonesia exclusive to citizens? He'd have to revoke his citizenship in America to establish one in Indonesia. If this is all just a ridiculous claim, then why has he concealed his vital records such as birth certificate and school records from elementary to his college days? With his recent executive order 12425, which made INTERPOL immune to things like subpoenas, he can hand over records to hide them. The whole topic of his ineligiblty is an issue only because he submitted a false birth certificate after a leak from the Clinton Campaign. Even if he was born in Hawaii, he would not be a natural citizen because not only was his mother too young, but his father was a subject of the Crown of Britain. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM...

  • Futuristic genetic research?

How long do you think it will be before we are able to make ourselves taller through the use of pharmasutical drugs or engineered genetics? I'm absolutely ashamed of my height and something needs to be done. I know there are some loons out there who constantly break their bones to be just an inch or two taller. But that's not even worth it. I hope I didn't waste these points asking this question. I'd like to see some good answers

  • About tomorrow.... ?

I have to go to my grandparents house for Christmas tomorrow, but I would rather slap Jesus across the face with a pair of used undies, and kick myself in the shins than go to that hell hole. I need some excuses to get out of this pickle that I'm in.
