I was thinking about getting a pair of Doc Martens, but they're actually a bit expensive (ranging from $120-250). I was just wondering whether they wear out pretty quickly or if they're really durable. If I'm going to spend $130 on shoes, they better not rip quickly. Let me know if you've tried them and your results?

I have a 55 year old grandmother. She's been through a lot including the death of her spouse, cancer, and ulcers. She doesn't believe she'll be alive for much longer, but I'm determined to keep her living for at least twenty more years.
