  • How to get smell out of refrigerator?

While I was out of town my power was shut off, the ice and food in the freezer thawed out and I spent all morning mopping rancid shrimp juice off of the floor. I've cleaned the floor and the inside of the fridge, but cannot figure out to get to the inner working of the fridge. Now that the power's back on the smell is nauseating. The smell is trapped deep in the fridge bowels. Can I pour bleach or something into the freezer and let it run through? Suggestions?!

  • What should I spend this money on?

  • I need to learn about grad school quick!?

I'm considering going to grad school- who should I be talking to? What should I be asking? I've just ordered a book to help me with the GRE, and will register for the test shortly. I feel like I don't even know enough about graduate work to ask decent questions about it. How do I know a good program? How does one decide full vs. part time? And financial aid?! not a clue.

    Where do I start?!?!

  • How much tax should I plan on paying on my rental property?

I've been renting out my townhouse for $800 per mo. for the past ten months. I'm about to buy a car and would like to use some of this money towards a down payment, but would also like to leave enough behind for taxes and potential repairs.

The quick version: I'm renting the property for about $50 below mortgage and am also having to cover the HOA myself. Dad says I won't owe any taxes since I'm losing money, others say I will-

How much should I hold onto (of the $8000 saved). I'm thinking of using $4000 towards the car. Thanks!!!

  • How can I save this geranium?

I have a geranium that was brought back from Ireland and would really like to get it to flourish. Right now it's one single, long, stem with some leaves. I have repeatedly cut it down to short stems and grown it back up, but it never flowers, and all the stems, save one, keep dying off. It is leaning against the wall- it can't even hold itself up! What am I doing wrong?! I'm very amateur- please be specific in your advice- references to outside resources appreciated!

  • What's wrong with front desk people?

Even at the nicest medical offices it seems that the front desk people are so rude. They are often dismissive, terse and even sarcastic. Why is this? Why don't the doctors insist upon professionalism from them? Is it just me?

  • Is this the flu? SSRI withdraw?

Came home Tuesday night feeling crazy- achy, fever, runny nose, etc- all the symtoms of flu- bu also hearing white noise and that weird "brain shudder" too big for my head feeling I know to be lexapro withdraw- it was so bad that when I got home I took half a 10mg tab of lexapro and theraflu... felt quite sick, without brain shudders and dizziness and white noise I'd had night before... two days later, still lack of energy and a bit headachey, but a lot better... QUESTION: Was this all Lexapro withdraw? Was this a flu that happened to coincide with the withdraws? Is it typical for flu to be this short-lived- may it have been shortened by me getting a flu shot? Thanks (If you've read this far... lol)
