I'm not here right now. I'm out looking for myself. If I get back before I do, please ask me to wait for myself. What if the Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about? If you cry, I cry. If you laugh, I laugh. If you jump off a bridge, I laugh even harder.
Can eggs be cooked in cast iron skillets, or will they stick too badly?
11 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoCan I feed my chickens leftover high quality dog food as a treat?
It's either that or throw the dog food out. I'm not sure if there is anything in there that would harm them, and they'd still have their regular laying feed.

3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWhat causes a new hen to lay eggs with thin or no shell?
The other hens with her lay eggs with nice thick shells. Her first egg yesterday had a thin shell, and today there was NO shell. Is this something that will correct itself with time, or does she have some sort of congenital abnormality?

It seems like I should, but I've looked at 3 recipes, and none of them mention this.
2 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhat are some things I could plant in the empty spaces in my garden that would be good for this time of year?
I've harvested peas, beans, lettuce, radishes, onions, potatoes. What should I put in their place to not waste the rest of the summer? We live in a hot climate, so still have LOTS of growing time left, but it is 90 degrees most days here. I am a first year gardener so need help on this!
3 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoI am a first-time gardener. I planted some beans to make dried beans. What do I do now?
I left them on the vine till the shells were pale and dry and crispy. I took them off the vine this morning. Do I need to do any additional drying, or it is okay to shell them now?

2 AnswersRespiratory Diseases1 decade agoWhat can I do non-medically to unstuff my nose so I can sleep?

4 AnswersRespiratory Diseases1 decade agoIf I had hens, and one turned out to be a rooster, is it possible that the behavior would show up at 16 wks?
Out of my 10 pullets, 3 have combs & wattles that are growing. The oldest chick, who is 2 wks older than the others, has just started weak crowing and aggressive behavior towards the others, esp the 2 with the growing combs. I thought the crowing would start at 5-6 wks of age, and my husband read online that in the absence of a rooster, often the dominant hen will start fake crowing and will be bossy. Any opinions here?
2 AnswersBirds1 decade agoDoes anyone have info on cross-pollination of potatoes and tomatoes?
I have Russet potatoes planted in containers, and one plant is near/touching a tomato plant, and there is a small tomato growing on the potato plant. I can't find anything online that would indicate that these two things can cross-pollinate.

He had one baby aspirin before the shots, 9 hrs ago, and one about 4 hrs ago. He won't eat and is obviously uncomfortable. He is a year and a half old, and was sore last year when he got his shots, but the baby aspirin took care of it.

My puppy is a 7 mo 5 lb Yorkie, and the operation was Tuesday. I brought him home on Wednesday and he seemed fine, but starting yesterday evening he began wetting in the house and his cage, and has continued that this morning. The incision site looks fine. He is perky and does not seem to be in pain - I just keep finding PUDDLES.
6 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhat can I do to reattach metal shutters to my house?
The screws that go through the shutters go into holes drilled in brick, but over the years have gotten so loose they just fall out. It seems like there should be some adhesive that I can just put in the holes and stick the screws in, but I would like the name of something specific before I head for the store - can you help?
