  • Is this nation ignorant enough to elect a Republican again?

Will racism and ignorance of issues blind us into 4 more years of bad decisions and an even lower standard way of living? If McCain is elected , and he continues the policies of Bush, then we deserve 4 more years of doom and gloom. BUT, I will remain a patriotic american who loves this country and wait for better times I guess.

  • What about Hillary?

Now that Hillary criticizes Barack for sitting in Rev. Wright's pews for 20 years, isn't anyone willing to criticize Hillary for staying married for 30 plus years to a man who lied to a federal grand jury and the American people about Monica Lewinsky ? And she talks about poor judgement ?

  • Is it time for a renewed labor movement in this nation?

How about settling somewhere in the middle , like, evening out this trade deficit. Are you seeing how many goods are "made in china"? Does China have that many USA made goods on its shelves?

Union membership has decreased rapidly over the last decade or 2. Good or Bad?????

Middle Class needs to wake up .............. Many among us would embrace manual labor if it's pay was on the same level as cost of living.....Is that asking too much?

    One more question

Are we better off with lobbyist hired by corporations running this nation?

Both Party's talk a lot but really, what is the solution?

  • Democrats or Republicans?

Democrats: Government for the People , By the People

Republicans: Government for the Corporations, By the Corporations

  • Tax and Spend Democrats???? Remember that?

80's: Reagan cut expenses everywhere except in the Military spending in which there was a lot of money spent followed by a huge deficit

90's: Clinton won with the promise of eroding the deficit with less government and higher taxes in order to achieve this goal by the end of his term. He left office with a Surplus and Social Security was safe.

2000: Dubya Bush lowers taxes but runs an even bigger deficit than Reagan or Bush #1 ever did. Reagan vetoed a Bill with 140 pork barrel projects while Bush signed a bill with over 6000 pork barrel projects.

You tell me: who is the big spender and who is actually more conservative?

Miss Sway 26, please do not respond, you make my head hurt.

  • Was Bush a cocaine cowboy dodging his Alabama National Air Guard duties while Kerry served in Vietnam?

You brain washed and braindead conservatives depress me.

You shame the one's that actually served their country: John Kerry, Max Cleland.

  • Will the Hard Right Radicals realize that Kerry was speaking of President Bush and not our Troops?

Kerry was speed reading from a script if you noticed on TV. He goofed up his comment by leaving out a reference to Bush , NOT THE TROOPS!

    Kerry served in Vietnam

    Bush did not!

Bush was a National Air Guard who didn't even show up to all of his monthly drills. Another "Fortunate One" like the CCR song goes!

    Wake up Middle Class Americans!

  • Which Party is more supportive to Middle Class America?

GOP gave us tax cuts which helps

GOP now will claim the economy is great with Stock Market breaking the 12000 barrier.

    BUT

What impact has inflation had on everything that a Middle Class American buys?

Gasoline, Health Insurance costs and coverage, Groceries are a majority of outgoing expenses in our households. How does the increase in these prices compare to what we are saving with the GOP tax cuts? Why doesn't anyone address this?

And what about exporting jobs overseas? If these big companies take away our jobs , how do they expect us to buy their products?

If companies pay low wages to illegal immigrants and refuse to pay competitive wages to legal citizens, how do they expect us to buy their products?

  • Get rid of lobbyists and special interest groups, will it work?

Would this return both parties back to their basic principles?

Would this allow better legislation passed that would help all Americans and not just some?

  • What has 6 years of Bush & 12 years of Republican Congress done to the Middle Class?

Love him or hate him.......Lou Dobbs on Larry King made many good viewpoints on this question.

Many go on and on about low taxes and better defenses with Bush.

If you are a Middle Class citizen then how does your life compare to the 90's under Clinton?

  • Why am I labled a "mindless commie liberal" by conservatives?

Communism and Liberalism are not even in the same ballpark.

What is "mindless" about questioning and responding to the way our government has been run the last 6 years? The anger in your reponses reflect your mindset. What good could possibly come from your( far right wing , so called, christian) angry dialogue?

  • Remember the good ole days?

Remember the 90's? Gas Prices dropped to below a $1 per gallon and Government Surplus and No Inflation and Increased Middle Class Wages. Remember having more dollars left over to contribute to your IRA? Remember the boom in jobs before they were shipped overseas?
