I met this girl at a bar. i am 26 shes 28. went on a couple of dates, and I said something about lets do something cuz it's fun. and she replied back you know I am not looking for fun. My take was that shes older than me and shes looking for something substantial and serious. am i right?

I am 5 9" male 26 yo. About 6 months ago, I used to weigh 210lb, and I thought I had a problem. So I did p90x two cycles, completed it and now I am 160lb with pretty toned body, 6 pack and all. I switched my diet from 2 big meals a day to 10 small meals a day. Now that I am used to 10 small meals a day, my metabolism is super fast. I have to constantly be nibbling on something or I get hungry within 30 minutes. I usually eat every hour or an hour and a half. Sometimes I eat dinner, and I cant go to sleep because I get hungry so fast again. I am pretty happy that I am fit now but this is starting to become a problem.

This is my meal plan throughout a day. I still workout an hour everyday.

every 15 minutes or so I continuously sip coffee (black) and eat almonds (unsalted, about a cup a day)

7am: strawberry/banana shake (just with water and ice blended)

7:30: 2 egg whites, spinach, one slice of deli meat

9: half a sandwich

10:30: an apple

12pm: small lunch (salad, chicken breast or something healthy)

2: half a sandwich

3:30: some kind of fruit

5: small dinner

7: banana

9: half a sandwich

10:30: something to fill me up so I can go to sleep (egg whites or fruits)

My gf and I broke up a couple of weeks ago. We live in the same house, and it was awkward to live in the same apartment, so I temporarily moved to my friend's house. I broke up with her so I gave her some time to think about what to do about housing.

My lease doesn't end until next year, so it is the best if we do not break the lease. I gave her 2 options of either her keeping the apartment or me keeping the apartment, and the other person just moves out within a month. However, my ex girlfriend decides that she does not wanna do neither one. I guess there is another way that we just break the lease, which I do not know what the consequences will be... She did give me an option of her moving out in November, which is ridiculous thinking that the lease will end within a couple of months after that. And I will not even live there and potentially lose about 700 dollars in rent, which can add up to $6000. Either way, I am getting screwed financially, possibly paying double rent for sake of her keeping the place for herself.

I knew breakup wouldnt be easy, but i didn't expect this problem. Any input will be appreciated.

This may sound CRAZY but I am so cold right now. I live in san francisco and it's august the coldest time of the year. I live few blocks from the ocean and it is FREEZING.

I live in a studio where it doesnt have a central heating system. I do have an electric space heater which takes forever to make my room (20 x 20) warm enough to survive, and of course the bill is crazy high. I was thinking, maybe I can use my oven as a heater.

I cleaned my gas oven very thoroughly so it doesn't smell when I turn on. I would guess an oven works the same way as regular gas heater by... burning gas.

Am I gonna kill myself?

I used to have carpet flooring and just got laminate flooring. I am noticing more hairs on the floor. My gf is calling me an *** for making a big deal out of it. I don't know how many hairs a girl sheds everyday, I find about 100 a day. When I see them, I pick them up every time. My gf gets annoyed of me doing it. I tell her to pick it up time to time as well. She is really frustrated about making me a big deal out of it. She told me that all her friends have the same problem. Is that right?

I feel bad for complaining about her hair. :(

I just moved into a studio. The carpet was dirty and I had no time to move so I got rug doctor. However, I think I overdid it... I believe some part of the carpet padding is wet and some part of the carpet smells musty...

I live in a very small place. Carpet takes about 300 square feet, and how much does it cost to replace the carpet? Not that I will do it, but I feel like I need to talk to landlord about this issue asap. Maybe a possible avoidable excuse would be awesome too. I feel like it's time for him to get me a new carpet anyway (there has been a tenent living here for past 5 years with same carpet...)

I just moved into a new place (in a rush). So I didnt have time to ask the landlord to shampoo the place but I just rug doctor instead. I realized that I made a mistake by overdoing it. I don't feel like lifting the carpet when it's not even my house.

The carpet is on top of sponge (mix of different color looking thing) and the carpet is just regular type not berber one. Under that, there is concrete.

The padding isn't completely soaked. Only the top of the padding is wet.

Right now, I have all windows open, all the fans on, and on top of that, I am applying heater as well.

Uggh, I just rug-doctored it today and I am frustrated.

I made fried rice 2 nights ago. I put it in the refrig right after I made it (of course after it cooled down). I totally forgot about it till today. Is it safe to eat it for tonight dinner or tomorrow dinner?

I have my own wired network and upstairs own wireless network. I have 2 network cards for that. Each of them are too slow, so I was thinking maybe if I bridge them I get the combined speed. Is that true?

I just moved into an in-law studio (garage modified) and I currently don't have a mailbox. The post office man told me that I can't have a mail box because it is not registered (I think?). My landlord provided me with a PO box which is 3 blocks away, but I'd rather have my own mailbox. Is there any way I can have my own mailbox?

I use 24" 1080P monitor so it lags a little bit. and I watch tv with it as well, and it lags. Other than that I play some warcraft here and there and office work mostly.

I was thinking maybe I will just replace my video card to radeon Hd3850. or for that money ($100), spend a little bit more (total $300-400) and get a nicer Core 2 Duo with an average graphic card.

I want to be ready for starcraft 2 :)

My gf started period while she is on birth control pills.

she usually have period every month but this time she continued taking pills straight through her period due to vacation. Today is one week right before she starts period (8th week taking pills). Shes gonna call the hospital tomorrow but I just wanted to know if this is something serious asap. She's been taking the pills regularly at the same time and it's been over 3 years.

Any ideas?

I think I got something called external hemorrhoid. I am 24 and never had something like this before. I have a swallen area size of green bean outside of rectum. I noticed it today and has been bothering me the whole day.

I bought Preparation H and applied it, and will continuously apply on it. Is there anything else that I should be aware of? I have a 17 hour flight tomorrow and I am really worried about this. It is my vacation and I dont want it to be hell...

and did i get this becuase of my unusual habit? It might sound weird but I am never able to do #2 in a public bathroom so I always do my business in the morning at home, and if i usually put pressure. and I always wash with soap and take a shower right after. Should I stop doing this?

My gf is graduating from college tomorrow... It's going to be 90 degrees ugh. I was gonna wear some slacks with dress shirt, but I think it's gonna be too hot. It's going to be about 3 hours (college is huge, took mine 4 hours engineering).

I guess I can wear shorts with polo tshirts or dress shirts. Is this acceptable?

I paid credit card bill to capitalone, but my credit line still is not back to its credit limit. It's been like this for about a week (payment is posted a week ago) Is it okay to use my credit card if I paid already? or should I just hold off until credit line goes back up.

I am traveling overseas and i wanted a capital one card.. but then, damn it!! I applied for capital one with 750 fico score and got rejected. so I have to rely on my gf who is traveling with me. She has a Capital one card. HOWEVER, her credit history is like few months and has ONLY $500 credit line.

I was wondering if it is possible to prepay, let's say about $1000 and use it. Would this mean she has $1500 credit line now? (500 previous and $1000 pre-paid?)

My citi and chase charge me 3% which blows.
