I'm old and old school. That being said, what can I play on a PS2 that is similar to Silent Hill, Tomb Raider or Resident Evil? I love searching for things more than I like the bloody aspect of it all. Can you recommend any games that I would like? Back in the day....I loved all those Legend of Zelda games...anything out there today that is similar? Thanks!

I just found out yesterday that an aunt of mine has breast cancer. I have no idea how severe the cancer is. She is going thru a double mastectomy today. Anyone have a clue on how long a hospital stay is for this? thanks so much.

I have a brand new front loading washing machine. My laundry hookups are on the second floor in a small closet. The machine sits on a vinyl floor.

During it's spin cycle it shakes uncontrollably. I have lowered the spin setting from high to medium, and now on low. No difference. I feel like my house is sitting on a fault line! It shakes so bad that my floor within a 10 -15 foot radius from it shakes as well. The light fixtures and the windows below it also shake like crazy.

My husband installed little feet on it that are supposed to be shock absorbers, and they sit on rubber feet. It is still CRAZY!

I am worried it is going to damage my house, and i do 1 million loads of family laundry a week. :)

Has anyone run into this problem? Have you been able to fix it? Please send suggestions!!!

I live in Texas. It is ridiculously hot...just about year round. Currently the flies here are out of control. Each time my kids open the front or back door of the house, flies come in. On a daily basis I kill approx 20+ flies. I shoot them with Windex and it sort of stuns them and then I grab them with a paper towel.

How can I deter them from even entering the house at all? My house is clean with nothing for them to do but fly around and crash into my window all day and make me insane.

Currently I am trying the penny in the water bag trick, hopefully that will help.

Does anyone have any luck with this method or can share another with me? Otherwise it is going to be a LONG summer!

I am going to leave my husband. We live in TX, and I will be unable to support myself and the kids here since I am a stay at home mom. I will need to go back to MA where I have family that can help. What are the laws about crossing state lines with children? Is that just in the movies, or is it for real? Where can I find out information on this? He is not a citizen either, so what kind of parental rights does he have? Will I be able to collect alimony or child support because of his status? he is here legally and has a full time job.

I live in Central TX. What kids of plants or flowers are good in this region when your home borders a park with lots of deer in it.

I just moved into a new home about 2 months ago.

Since I moved in I keep having to pick up dog crap from my yard. My kids have stepped in it more than three times now. I saw a neighbor in my front yard a week ago scouring for poop.....but did not pick anything up after letting his dogs do their thing in my yard. A few days later my daughter stepped in it.

Today I saw one of the dogs go into my backyard and take a poop.

What is the nice/right thing to do here. My neighbor lets them run around without a leash. They are small little dogs, and seem to be friendly with the exception of the poop problem.

Please send suggestions....or I am sending my toddler over to her yard for revenge.

My 3 year old stepped on a HUGE mound yesterday and was stung between 10 - 15 times on her foot. Does anyone know what kind of medicine to put on it to stop the itching?

I just moved to a new house, and the stove cooks rice completely different than my old house. I am doing 4 cups water, and cups rice. I am adding oil and salt first and then waiting for it to boil. I then add the cups of rice. I am cooking it for around 30 minutes and the rice on top mainly is still raw. Any suggestions? It is a gas stove. I am baffled.
