I'm trying to make a backstory for my character at the haunted house that I work at, and I want her to have been locked up in an asylum by her father, and it to have closed some years later, whereupon she is left alone with nowhere to go, and I'm trying to use any real place possible, so my question is, are there any asylums in the UK that closed down between 2006 and 2009? I need names, parish, year they closed, and if they were immediately destroyed and if the inmates were moved elsewhere.

I know I've asked already asked this before, but what the heck. I've been trying to decide what I want to do with my hair, and I'm basically open to just about any suggestions. Some things I've been considering are layers that make my hair curl better, which I've had before, and whether I want to leave my natural color or dye it red. If you've got any other suggestions, though, lay them on me.

I live in a small town, and I have some experience, and I would really like to start acting professionally. I've tried joining some websites, but you end up having to pay just to be noticed on the site. I understand what one has to give up when becoming an actor or actress, but I don't think my mom really realizes it. Plus, every time I mention paying money to websites, she thinks it's a scam, which doesn't surprise me, because I have a hard time believing them as well.

Anyways, can anyone help me with this? How do I get noticed as an actress? I've been in two school plays so far and have no professional training, but I think I'm pretty good for a beginner. Any ideas?

I'm fifteen and this is the second time this has happened like this to me. After I got done with a hot bath (Usually, the temperature isn't as hot. I just don't pay much attention when I'm running the water) and got really dizzy and my vision started to get blurry. I felt like I was going to puke. I had to sit down, and my eyes kept shutting on their own and it felt like the room was spinning. After about a half a minute, I got up and went to my bedroom (which is only a few steps away) and hardly made it before crashing on my bed. I laid there for about a minute and as the dizziness slowly started to go away, I started to hear this weird buzzing sound. Like a bunch of bugs flying in the same area at once. That slowly faded and in the course of maybe three minutes, it was over. The same thing happened a couple of months back, only I didn't get quite as dizzy and I didn't hear the buzzing. It reminded me of the feeling I had back in February when I got really sick and started throwing up for a few hours, then it went away the next day. If you have any idea what's wrong with me, I would appreciate your help. It doesn't seem serious enough to go to a doctor because I feel perfectly fine afterwards, and both times it happened, no one was around. It's just really quite frightening.

the title says it all. my chrush - who i've liked for at leaste 3 years- thinks my step sister is hot! well, she's not technically my step sister, but me a nd my mom live with her and her dad (parents been together 7 years). on the bus one day, for a school thing, i was talking to him and another boy about how every one thinks she's hot and the other boy said that my chrush (silently) agreed. i couldn't see him because the seat was in the way, but it's so annoying! what do i do?!

Well, my crush's mom was subbing in a class, and i swear that it seemedd like every time i looked up, she was staring at me. i'm pretty sure she doesn't dislike me, but what is that supposed to mean?!

I'm going to probably ask a boy out and if he says yes, we'll either see a movie or go to the skating rink...... witch one should we do and if movie what's a good one.

I like a boy and my friend( who hhas lied before, but not usually) said that he told her that he liked me but to not tell anyone. we danced at a dance(that's when he told my friend) and before that we talked all of the time now we don't talk near as much. he is smart, funny,easy to talk to, nice, and cute...... and i don't know what to do!! do u think my friend was telling the truth? if he does like me, what do i do?

My mom and her "Boyfriend" bought fish about 3-ish-4 weeks ago, and some died, bought more fish, more died, about.....18-20 fish have died, mainly from ick. how do you prevent the stupid fish from dieing!!!???
