The motherboard just went out on my old Gateway laptop and I am looking to replace it. I have narrowed it down to two laptops: Lenovo Ideapad Z580-59345254 15.6" Laptop and the Toshiba S855-S5378 15.6" Laptop. They both have the same memory and the same size hard drives the only difference is the brand name and the processor: the lenovo has an i5 and the toshiba has an i7 and the toshiba is $100 dollars more. My question is is it worth the extra $100 for the toshiba with the i7 processor?

My 1998 Toyota Corolla wouldn't start tonight so i got it jumped off and took it to auto zone and it died again in the parking lot.They tested the battery and it was at 0% so they said it looks like it is the alternator. Auto Zone can get me a new one for $125, should i get the new one or try getting mine rebuilt? And if I do get the new one should i buy it then take it an auto shop and have them put it in, or buy it from whoever i get to put it in? ~Thanks

So this will be my second year having a vegetable garden. Last year I had a lot of trouble with weeds and someone told me that I should have tilled the land, waited a week, tilled again, wait another week, till once more and then it would be ready to plant. He said that this would get rid of any weeds in the area, but I've read online that a lot of people say too much tilling is bad for the soil. I do have compost that I will be adding but I don't want to destroy that soil that is already there. Any advice?

I am in charge of games for a valentines day party at church this saturday and i need more ideas. The newlywed game is always a favorite, but it seems to be the same couples that play every year (we are a small church) and they come prepared for the regular questions, so we need some new ones. Any suggestions? (keep in mind it is for a church group so nothing inappropriate) ~Thanks

I am a big fan of The Chronicles of Narnia and I started looking up more books by C. S. Lewis and I have read a lot of good reviews of about these books. I'm just not sure if i will like them being non-fiction ( I know a couple are fiction but the rest are not). Should I buy them or not?

So my car wouldn't start when I went to go to work yesterday so I went ahead and drove my mom's car. When I got home I tried it again but it still wouldn't start, it sounds like it's trying to, but it won't turn over. My battery is only a couple months old but we tried jumping it off anyway and that didn't work. Then my dad stepped on the gas a couple times then tried to start it and he gave it gas as it was trying to start. It worked that time and he drove it around for a little while. I drove it all day to day and it started every time but it sounds like it almost won't. I don't know weather to trust it now or not. Any ideas what was wrong?

Anyone know of any online cake competitions, i know cake central does them but are there any other similar websites that do them too?

Ok so i recently bought a wii used and the game it came with didn't work so i went to walmart and bought prince of persia the forgotten sands. I didn't really know anything about the game but i liked the movie so i thought i'd get it to make sure the wii was working right. I everything worked fine and i liked the game, but it seems like it was in the middle of the story. I saw other games online but i'm confused about the order, which ones take place before the forgotten sands and which come after?

i am making ravioli (beef filled) for dinner tomorrow night and i want to have soup and salad to go with it but i don't know what kind of soup would be good. Any suggestions and/or recipes?

i have a recipe i really like for carrot cake, but i want to substitute canned pumpkin for the carrots, will i need the same amount of pumpkin as the recipe calls for carrots or should it be more/less?

i work in a commercial kitchen and i need a new pair of work shoes...i've seen a lot of shoes online but i want to be able to try them on before i buy. i know of a store near me that sells nurse uniforms and they have shoes there so i was wondering if anyone wears nurse's shoes in a kitchen?

i work on my feet a lot and get a lot of pain in my feet. i think i may have fallen arches so i need shoes with good arch support...does anyone know is sperry's have good arch support?

so my laptop battery use to charge fine, it didn't last as long as it use to b/c it's a couple years old, but it worked fine, then it started not charging right. it will charge sometimes but i have to hold the cord in or wiggle it around until it's just right sot that it will charge. i thought that it might be the adapter that needed to be replaced so i bought a new one and i think it has helped but it's still not right. i don't really think it's the battery b/c when the cord is just right it does charge, but i don't know what else i would be...any ideas?

I have an Acer laptop that is only a couple years old and it has always worked fine. But within the last few weeks it will say the battery is low and then it hibernates even though it is plugged in, Anybody know why?

I have a Starcaster and i'm looking at some pickguards i want to buy, can i get a pickguard made for a regular Strat and put on my guitar? i know it has to be for the right pickups and everything.

i hear it on the radio a lot but i don't know the name of it, it says something about the light of the love that i've found. I tried searching for just that but nothing comes up, does anyone know the name of this song?

i know the tune but i can't remember any words, maybe somebody can help, it's like a classic rock song and i'm pretty sure it's a man singing it (maybe somebody like Tom Petty but i don't think it's him) anyway it sings a line and then it goes hu-hu hu hu hu hu-hu

i know that's not much to go on but it's driving me crazy trying to figure this out so any help would be appreciated!
