  • Help! I need recruiters in DC/Baltimore area!?

My husband is being relocated to Baltimore and I'm not familiar in this area. I'm currently located in Phoenix, AZ. We are looking into moving in February but if I can find a new career earlier, I will be moving first. It seems like there are plenty of opportunities in these area but I'm confused. I'm currently junior accountant seeking similar background and/or in finance area as well. I need a good recruiter than can help me out. How do I get hold of recruiters there? I've looked into Monster and I found some recruiters. How do I work with them?

If you are recruiter, please leave a contact number so I can get hold of you.

  • New cat companion turns trouble. Did we make a mistake?

We just adopted a new female cat yesterday and she's 2 years old. Our house cat (1 year and 4 months) wasn't happy. He was curious when he saw her he hiss and spat. About 2 hours later we let her out and she was really into adapting her new environment but our house cat start to growl. He chased after her in the end. So she's now in our bedroom and he's outside roaming. How do we make this better for both of them? We want them to be happy and want our cat to be happy and accepting her. He growl behind door and we let her see him and she hiss back while he look at her in puzzled/scary face. Are these two cats are just merely scared? Or they just not happy with each other? Help us! We don't want to give her up. It's difficult to get a cat with mild attitude like our house cat these days.

  • Career Decision?

I am in dilemma. A bank offer me a teller position and I can certainly see myself growing and climb the ladder to corporate. I have finance degree and I would like to exercise what I have learned in college. Now, a contemporary chain restaurant offered me a position as a service manager. I love restaurant environment as well. I love being busy and getting all the things taken care of.

I have experience working in restaurant so it would be extremely easy for me to fit in. Banking on the other hand is completely new area of choice. Should I go for something new or something I am comfortable with? I do not like to think of pay for now (restaurant pays more than banking) but what my concern is which is the better future? Money or food industry? Help me decide!

  • Green card grace period?

Can I get divorce immediately as soon as I get my greencard? We both are waiting for the greencard which will be out anytime next year. My husband is sponsored by employment and we got married right before we start our greencard process. My application is under "derivative adjustment" and his under "adjustment as direct beneficiary of immigrant petition." I really need to know if there's a grace period that I have to stay in my broken marriage or I can just leave him immediately.

I need someone who is pro in immigration to answer this. I cannot afford to waste my time anymore.

  • Feeling down?

I have been feeling down. Everything just don't seems right. I get scared easily to just about anything. I get offended easily and unable to control my temper. I have been jobless for nearly a year (due to visa status) but I do waitressing to contribute to family financial needs. My husband is having affair that he himself is having trouble getting out of. All adds up to myself and drive me insane. I am looking for a career now and it shows on my face that I'm unoptimistic and less enthusiastic like others. What should I do to keep myself up? I am sort of depress but I do not want to take depression pill.
