I have PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome) and take birth control to regulate my period. I hadn't taken the pill for quite a few months because I didn't have health insurance to cover the prescription. Since I had stopped I didn't get it (which is normal with PCOS), but now that I took it this month, I got my period, and it's the worst it's ever been. I've gone a while without my period before and never had it THIS BAD afterwards. I don't have health insurance again until February, so I'm going to have to stop taking the pill again, and can't see the doctor until then. But, does this seem ok? Or do you think it's bad? (I'm not talking the usual heavy flow. it's BAD.) Thanks!

hey my friend has been feeling sick (but she's also a drama queen...so) but anyway, do these symptoms sound like a thyroid problem or something more serious?

-no appetite, but when there is one, after eating a small bit - she feels sick to her stomach

-light-headed and dizzy (sometimes) she's seen spots, too.

-weight loss

-heart racing sometimes

-headaches.

...no, she's not pregnant either. lol

if you could help me out (cause im sick of hearing her complaining) that would be great.

she went to the doctor for tests today...but won't get results for a week or so.

I go into anaphylactic shock, and use my EpiPen and then feel fine?

I recently had a serious allergic reaction that I just waited out, without going to the hospital like I should have. I hate having to go to the hospital and get all that medication shot into my system. The last time I had anaphylaxis and went to the hospital I felt like I was about to die, it was the worst feeling ever.

I just want to know if I use my EpiPen, even though it says to go to a doctor within a 1/2 hour - but if I feel fine, should I still go?

I was offered a position as violinist in the pit orchestra for a local performance of Jekyll and Hyde.

I haven't seen the show since I was about 14, and didn't like it too much (I WAS only 14. lol) but I wanted to know if anyone knows if the score for the violin is difficult? I'm interested, but there would only be one rehearsal, and the performances start this weekend.

So I bought a black (short) wig (I naturally have long blonde hair) and a REALLY cool masquerade type mask which is black and white and glittery (its gorgeous)

Well...I'm just not sure what to be! Does anyone have ideas on what I could turn this into? I found really cool gloves to go with it (they're like lace with no finger peices, just lace hanging)

Any ideas?

So, I had to take a drug test on thursday for employment. Well, I smoke pot pretty much daily...and I stopped when I found out I had to take the test. I was clean for a week and a half...ONLY drank water and cranberry juice all week, took b-12 vitamins, goldenseal root pills AND bought body flush to drink that day (the 32 oz. "extra strength" one...and it was fcking nasty. lol) and continued to drink water that day...and took the test.

What do you all think? Pass or fail?

I'm a little worried. But, I'll be finding out the results Monday - - and if I pass...I'm guaranteed the job...starting TUESDAY!

(which means I'll be screwing over my current job, since I'm a full timer. haha)

I know, I know...I shouldn't be smoking...but sh*t happens. So, if you don't like drugs, ignore this post. I'm looking for serious opinions here.
