I currently have the HP Spectre x360 15 T EB000 Touch. The brief specs are below:

Windows 10 Home 64

10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor

NVIDIA® GeForce® MX330 (2 GB)

16 GB Memory; 256 GB SSD storage

The question is, will this be enough to "competently" use the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro? By competent, I mean the following.

1.) Enough horse power to juggle all the music and video editing that will be occurring without spending excess time processing FX, modifications, etc

2.) Have a "good enough" graphics card to allow me see what I need to see. I'm not envisioning I'll be delving into 4K for a while, and when I do hopefully I'll have enough for an Alienware product that can handle anything.

3.) Not crash on me due to overloading the process matrix internally in the laptop, OR have significantly reduced speeds uploading or downloading finished projects.

That's about it. I really don't want to make the investment into this great software if my laptop can't even handle the work load. 

Please answer with vernacular that makes sense to a lay person. I'm pretty tech savvy but I don't need to understand the nuances of hyper threading and whatnot. Thanks.

I'm currently undergoing the beginning of what I hope to be a career long process. My dream has always been to work from home editing music videos, movies, Youtuber videos, etc.

  I'm sick and tired of working a mind numbingly boring and painful day job at the office....but a few things remain before I make the big jump and take a risk.

Are there currently companies in San Diego, CA that employ people to work form home on projects for them? Do said companies give any benefits to employees (health, dental, vision, sick leave, holiday pay) like any other modern company would?

That to me is the biggest con if I took the plunge and quit my day job once I was certified and proficient in the use of Adobe Premiere Pro. I can't not have my family and myself covered and insured just so I can work from home....that trade off isn't worth it.

That being said, I know there's a ton of free lance work that I can practice with before I get there, but I'm still curious about how many legitimate companies (hopefully with benefits) exist for people with my dreams and desires. 

I know this is a pretty niche and specific question, but there's just not enough valid commentary online to give me a good idea of what to expect. If anyone out there currently works for a company like that or knows someone who has, please send me their email or answer directly. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Within the next year or so, I plan on purchasing two JBL SRX 815p active speakers. These will be my work horses for the weddings and events I DJ. Each speaker (not including shipping costs) is roughly $1,400.00 USD.

What I want to figure out is if there's some company out there I can pay to increase

a.) Protection and enclosure speakers are shipped in.

b.) Insurance for shipped product

I've had numerous reports of people getting their speakers and having the boxes ripped, torn, crushed upon delivery. For this type of investment I'm really not comfortable having some pansy cardboard enclosure for something that costs more than most people's rent.

Is there any service or company that has something comparable to a Pelican case or something really high end meant to ship electronics? I know I have to order through JBL but perhaps I can negotiate how it's shipped and in what.

Any ideas? And no, I don't need info on raising the amount of insurance on the items being shipped. That's not the problem. Thanks.

I'm getting an audio engineering degree this spring and have narrowed down what precisely I'd like to do with it.

I have a sixth sense about finding what scenes in movies/ tv shows / etc match with what song. Conversely if you play me a song I can write out an entire scene in which would encapsulate the essence of said song.

However, I just don't know what the person who does that job for films/tv is called or what their title would be. Until I know that there's not much I can do but poke around and ask other people.

If anyone has ideas or the description of said job title I would love to know. Thanks.

I'm running Kaspersky 2016 Total Internet Security on an Acer Aspire E15 with Windows 10. Originally, in the upper right hand corner of the internet browser it had a little green eye that would count how many items (pop ups, malware, ads etc) it blocked on each new screen I visited. Now it's greyed out and doesn't do jack diddly. It might be incognito mode (which doesn't make sense, never activated it to the best of my knowledge) or something else. Either way, I want my comforting green blob back that shows me how many nasties this is blocking for each page.

I have 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and have had just about enough of the teeth rattling jolts on this thing. However, knowing nothing about suspension I ve no idea where to start.

What I do know from some surface research is that I am more in the market for coils and dampeners than a full lift kit. In fact, that s exactly what I need. Not a lift lift whatsoever just the coils and dampeners.

So the question is, do I have to find a set made specifically for my truck? Or can I just buy universal kit for medium truck dimensions and have it done at a shop? Help please :-(

I have four new Hankook Dynapro ATM tires rated at 235 70r16. As far as pressure, the max psi is 50. My Ford sport trac'S optimal psi says 30.

The problem is though, at 30 psi these tires look nearly flat and it's really concerning. The car runs alright but turns are iffy and breaking hard isn't going well at all. What is the amount of pressure l can inflate to for this model? Or am I just going to have to deal with the squished, deflated look? Everyone seems to have a different answer.

I m currently second in command of my church s A/V sector, specializing in running the sound board. It s a new Behringer X-32 digital desk, and I couldn t complain.

Except....the gentlemen who trained me, although a great guy is scared of failure, and multiple times a service will remotely access the board with his tablet via an app, and hijack the controls. Not only is this disrespectful but totally throws me off. I know the board well enough, and the changes he makes are totally subjective with no real need for them.

If I was blatantly botching something it would make sense, but his reasoning for slaving the console to his iPad are just absurd at times and reeks of perfectionism.

Is there any way to lock out a wireless device and avoid this? I ve tried reasoning with him multiple times to no avail.

To sum it up, my driver's license expires in 2017, so that isn't the issue here. What is the problem, however, is that I look absolutely nothing like my picture anymore, even slightly. I had hair three times longer, braces, and wasn't tan in the slightest. Furthermore, I've grown at least three inches, gained thirty pounds, and turned 21. All this being said I'm embarrassed by this atrocity of a picture, and am concerned also that law enforcement won't think it's me seeing as how I'm on probation and need a valid license on me at all times.

The question is should I apply for an entirely new license, or just a picture? I was16 when I got the picture, am 21 now. Help?

I recently purchased a pair of basic Ion turntables from Radioshack which came with a CD of mixing software called "Ion Discover Dj software" from MixVibes. However, seeing as how my miniscule Windows 7 Mini 210 laptop doesn't possess a port to insert CD's and download said disk, I seem to be at a stand off. The question right now is simply if there is a website where I can type in the product key from the back of the mixing software holding case, and redeem the program to manually download without a slot to insert the disk OR another free downloadable mixing software that is compatible with Ion Discover Dj turntables.

My friend bet me I couldn't fool everyone at the college we're going to for a month that I was actually British. Now I have the accent and "where I'm from" information downpat, but eventually someone will ask to see my passport. Can I buy a gag or fake one somewhere?

A few nights ago I was at a raging party with some alcohol involved, go figure. At about 9 I pretty much forgot everything that happened due to my apparent intoxication. After I left the party the next day a girl called me and said we had sex, when I clearly remembered (only other thing I recalled about the whole night) that I fingered her. The police have now called me in for questioning definitely regarding that, and I'm guessing one or two of her parents have accused me of rape in some way, which is total crap. What are my rights and how do I get out of this safely? The girl is a legal adult (I was younger then her) so even if her allegations are true, what then? I'm way scared and just need some answers. HELP PLEASE!!!! P.S. Everyone at said party was beyond drunk, so I also think her perception of the incident was skewed.
