I'm partially Egyptian on my father's side, but I am also mostly Norwegian/Northern European on my mothers side. Also on my fathers side I am a mixture of Western European. Do I look Egyptian at all, or what nationality do I reflect the most?

We are having independent reading and I am not sure about what book to read. I really loved both movies too! I am a HUGE fan of sci-fi as well as history and biology. I already read Timeline, but I liked it so much I want to read it again. I am also learning about fossils and everything in biology and I really enjoy that too.

I don't know really how to explain this well but here it goes: My friend and I are best friends and all that jazz. But she tends to be really ignorant,and every time that I explain that to her she thinks I'm just trying to prove that I'm smarter and whatever. I love different cultures and countries and she is just like, "its not important about what goes on in the world, you live in america and america is more important." Then when we talk about colleges I tried to explain to her that those who are from different cultures from us are at a better chance to earn a scholarship (we are white). Then she says, "when getting a scholarship they don't care about how much money your parents make its your confidence and personality" which is somewhat true, but just a small part of it. Another thing (sorry this is long) is that my parents and I talk about her to each other and I do tell her that, but she keeps saying that we are "gossiping" about her when we are just having a parent-to-child conversation. I also believe that she tends to not like my mother because she doesn't live with her mum and hates her. The last and final part is: she always believes I'm trying to act like I want attention when she twists almost everything around and blames on it me. What should I do about this? We are super best friends for life, but she is just way too ignorant and makes me angry all the time.

P.S.-She also disses the type of music I listen to and what I like to wear and all of that stuff because I'm more of a person who enjoys wearing everything I see in magazines and I enjoy more rock/indie music while she tends to be the t-shirt and jeans person who thinks they are fashionable and listens to only what is the top on mtv/vh1.

I personally think that they are not racist, because in reality, the majority of people who shop there are caucasian, and so are their employees. I do know african americans, hispanics, middle-eastern, and asians who wear these two brands. I also personally love these clothes and complete my wardrobe. Some say its overpriced, but look at Saks, and Nordstroms. People should just look at the clearance rack, I find clothes for as cheap as $10, and they last a long time. Anyone want to add reasons on why people believe its racist/ a cult (how its a cult I have no clue)

I accidentally touched the stripes without the plastic on it and it now i have white speaks on my fingers that WONT wash out I even pumiced stoned them.

I need it for a school project to make a media presentation on how smoking is bad.

Which do you think is safer an upscale mall (Somerset in Troy) or MJR 20? My friend believes that a movie theater is safer, but I beg to differ.

The right side of my stomach by my belly button has been hurting alot. It gets worse when I eat, and when sometime it goes away. This is the second day it's been like that.

Also, if I do get my appendix removed, I'm going to Disney at the end of August, would that affect what I can and can't do there?

What song was playing in the common room in Harry Potter and the OOTP, the one before Harry and Seamus get into an argument, it was playing on their radio while everyone was studying....does anyone know? or is it a random song on there?

My friend got called into the counclers office because someone said that she cuts herself (she doesn't) and thats she's emo (i know that emo is a type of music not people who cut themselves those are just stupid people who tend to listen to emo music). Well the councler also looked up her myspace and printed up the comments left and went through all of this without my friends (or her parents) permission.

We are in middle school.

The reason she went through her myspace was because they thought she cut herself (again, she isn't like that, she just dresses preppy-punk).

So doesn't our 4th amendment protect her, even through the internet without her permission? She would've let them anyways, but she's mad because they DIDN"T have ANY permisson, not even from police.

Okay so our assignment is this:

We have to find flight prices for Alaska for July 18-August 1 and find prices for hotels and things to do. Plus we have to look for many prices for activites such as fishing (for salmon) and she says its to help us make an *intinary*. She also has many plans that are really specific. And get this SHE GOES TO ALASKA IN THE SUMMER! also there are questions about cancleations policies and the places phones numbers,addresses, and loads of stuff like that.
