Scientific Theory?
Before any more of you make fools of yourself please read the following.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBreeding question.?
I have a one year old male Persian, a very nice looking cat and also a nice temperement. How would I go about finding him a mate?
I do not want another cat I'd just like to keep his line going, I'd probably give away the kittens to the owner of the female. I'm in New York btw.
3 AnswersCats1 decade agoAre you actually feeling clever now?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWas Jesus' DNA 50% god and 50% Mary?
Not exactly of course, or was Mary a surrogate, Is there or can there be a serious answer to this question?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoTo atheists?
To borrow the concept of 'sin' for a moment..... What is the greatest sin you think you can commit in a non-religious sense?
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes it restore your faith in Humanity somewhat?
That Dawkins' book The God Delusion is now number 4 on the New York Times bestseller list, its highest ranking of the 16 continuous weeks it has been on it.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do Christians use the word hate so much?
When most of the time all that is being displayed is indifference or contrariness.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHaircut for Cat??
My persian kitten has beautiful long soft grey hair but it really seems to be too long. I groom him and try and wash him every couple of weeks or so, think bundle of teeth and claws and you'll get the picture, but I've never seen a cat with such long hair.
Should he/could he get a trim?
23 AnswersCats1 decade agoAnyone aware of this handy resource?

I think its nice to have on hand when the quotes about how loving god is start appearing...
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBaby Sweet Corn?
Does anyone knpw where I can buy fresh baby sweet corn in New York City? I love to cook Thai and Chinese food but I can't find fresh ones anywhere, tinned is a very poor substitute...
6 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoReligious Experiences.?
Do those who have religious experiences understand that I do not doubt that your experiences were absolutely real and that many people have them.
Where we part company is that I think that they are not as a result of the supernatural but of the very real world in which we live, that although they may be powerful to you there is no external reality to which they correspond.
Therefore stories of unevidenced religious experiences no matter how convincing to you will not persuade me that a god, or ghosts for that matter, exists.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do Christians seem to be so miserable?
Endless questions about why we are here and how can atheists put up with the fallen and evil state of the Earth, not all of them of course but there does seem to be quite a few bordering on the manic depressive. Life's a blast folks, its not all sugar-coated for sure but it a lot better than the alternative, if Christianity is bringing you down why not try life without it for a while?
37 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIntelligent Design.?
Following on from a question asked earlier, do creationists realise that if humans were in fact designed that the designer did a pretty bad job?
The eye is wired the wrong way round, the human pelvis is too narrow for safe childbirth, the back is an engineering nightmare and so on. Surely someone with a few billion years, or is it eternity, could have done a better job, hell we can do a better job for quite a bit of it.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAtheists - belief in paranormal etc.?
Interesting slew of questions showing belief in ghosts, aliens on earth (note on earth not just existing) demons and so on.
Is it just that believers are liable to believe no matter what and sceptics become atheists or are there atheists out there who do believe in these various manifestations and conspiracy theories.
27 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoMore damaging than Bush?
Do the Creationists who post here realise the damage they do to the USA's standing abroad?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoThe penalty for apostasy is death.?
Muslims please tell me if this is accurate according to The Koran, The Hadiths and Sharia law and if not why not?
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoThe Selfish Gene?
Do you think that the true believers out there get the same intellectual rush when they read their bibles as someone like me did when I read a truly groundbreaking work for the first time?
Do you genuinely feel sorry for them, as I do, in that they will never get to find out something new and wonderful about the natural world being forced to parse a 2,000 year old book of stories for their whole life?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoPascal's Wager?
Would it not make sense for everyone to practise the rituals of every religion in the world? We should all bow towards Mecca 5 times a day, celebrate mass, not offend fijjian Sea-monsters, pray to Odin and Thor and so on.
Surely that is the reductio ad absurdum of Pascals Wager, how can we know which religion is correct?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAtheists rioting in the streets?
After the portrayal of our sainted leader Richard Dawkins (PBUH) as an unfaithful husband having sex with a transgendered man on South Park last week did you see riots outside Comedy Central and calls for the show to be banned?
Though not.
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoThe Death Penalty?
Just wondering about whether your religious affiliation colors your views on the death penalty. I, an atheist am totally against it in any circumstance viewing it as state sponsored murder (cold blooded vengance), how about you?
