  • Why do atheist attempt to measure Christianity by the number deaths they?

perceive has been caused by it? Do not all people murder? Atheist, agnostics, democrats. Why do people who claim to not believe in God or his word hold his children to a higher standard than they hold themselves?

  • Evidence for God.. part IV?

Life takes more than working body parts and an electric current. "Life" is needed. You cannot see life, smell life, hear life or taste life but you can see where life has been and where it lives. The breath of life is God.

Life is not consciousness. It is a power all its own. Most of you come to the conclusion that your brain is who you are. Once you can rationalize that consciousness is not life you have to agree that life is different than the brain and when you can do that you can start looking for the source of life which exists outside of yourself.

  • Evidence for God.. part tre?

Why is it when the brain dies the body can continue to live? In a vegetative state no doubt but still it lives. because the energy that provides life and your brain power are 2 completely different forces. Your brain power is subordinate. Life can exist without the brain, the brain cannot exist with life therefore thebrain falls beneath your life energy.

Some will say electronic impulses make us move well that's like saying that pushing the gas on a car makes it move. It may at the highest level but under the hood its much more than that. But its true that the car wouldn't go without the driver.

Is the brain the ultimate driver of all that man does? Thats my question.

  • Evidence for God.. part deaux?

Does man operate as a result of a spiritual energy?

I believe that this is the order of operations: outside stimulus<senses<brain<mind<spirit.

Why? Because if you sat in the middle of a room and tried to use your mind to will your body to stand up, you will see that it won't. Your brain will noisily scream stand up but your body won't respond to your brain or mind accept via reflexes. But once you truly intend to stand up you will be able to quickly and with no noise from your brain at all. Is there a power of intent that turns thoughts into actions?

What is it and where is produced?

Is it really the mind that is in control of all of our actions?

  • Evidence for God.. part I?

In order to prove God could exist we must first prove that something can exist even though it is not perceptible to the 5 senses which our brain uses. i.e. We cannot, smell, hear, taste, touch or see it.

Can we admit that energy can exist in forms that are imperceptible to the 5 senses that man innately possesses?

  • For those who say that there is no moral value in the bible?

These little bits came from Proverbs

12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,

from men whose words are perverse,

13 who have left the straight paths

    to walk in dark ways,

14 who delight in doing wrong

and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,

    15 whose paths are crooked

and who are devious in their ways.

16 Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman,

from the wayward woman with her seductive words,

17 who has left the partner of her youth

and ignored the covenant she made before God.[a]

18 Surely her house leads down to death

and her paths to the spirits of the dead.

19 None who go to her return

or attain the paths of life.

Do atheist consider this wisdom or is it more false immorality by a wicked god?

Our heavenly father teaches us these things and more.

  • Why can't atheist glean value from the bible?

Most atheist are bright enough to read Aesops fables and glean the literary value from the overall moral of the story even if 2 ants are doing the talking. You ask an atheist to do that with a big boy book without pictures and they get all hot and bothered. Are the morals found in biblical stories simply too difficult for you to strain from the tale being told to make them clear?

  • Why do atheist need to lie?

If this freedom that you guys can't stop bragging about is so great why do you need to perpetuate the lie that religion is responsible for most of the violence that goes on in our world? Thats a flat out lie for those who know and more ignorance for those who don't. 80% of all wars are started and sponsored by secular groups for secular purposes. Now some people may use religion as a rallying cry to gather people to fight a national enemey by mis-stating the purpose of a conflict but most violence is carried out by secular atheist like yourselves.

If atheist freedom is so great, show us the rewards and we'll convert to your religion. What has being atheism meant to the world? Nothing.

Its a societal toxin. If its not, explain yourself...

  • All sound morals come from religion, so..?

The basis for all religions is a standardized agreement as to what is socially good behaviour and what is socially bad behaviour. All that you and every aetheist know about good and bad behaviour comes from religion. There is no act of goodness or kindness that you know of that does not have its origins in a religion.

My last question was riddled with the customary we don't need god to tell us how to act responses. But thats just ignorant.

Every society needs a uniform code for good and bad behaviour, if it aint God then what is it? Its just dumb to assume that each individual will have both similar and sounds ideas about good and bad behaviour.

    This is a serious question.

  • Aetheist once you've destroyed religion...?

What will you replace it with? Or is the new religion do whatever you want as long as it doesn't hurt anybody else?

Do you not understand that that morals and values are essential to the survival of a society?

Does that matter to an aetheist?

Will your message be that people are innately good anyway and don't need the words of God to tell them how to be good?

  • What would be wrong if we lived in a world.....?

    that followed the big 10?

1 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

2 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

3 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

4 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

5 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

    6 “You shall not murder.

7 “You shall not commit adultery.

    8 “You shall not steal.

9 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10 “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.”

If people didn't have to believe in God but live by the big 10, would that be a problem for atheist?

  • Which is better freedom or a religion?

In terms of building a lasting society I believe that atheist are a cancer to a people because their religion of freedom eventually destroys all nations from the inside. What do you think of this statement..

The idea of freedom is impossible of realization because no one knows how to use it with moderation. It is enough to hand over a people to self-government for a certain length of time for that people to be turned into a disorganized mob. From that moment on we get internecine strife which soon develops into battles between classes, in the midst of which States burn down and their importance is reduced to that of a heap of ashes.

So why is freedom better because I know that atheist will say that it is?

  • Question for Aetheist who are good people?

Jesus is the author of love. Before Jesus there was little idea how to love. Today we know to treat others like we want to be treated(the golden rule) and to take care of the weak and give to the poor. Jesus made love vogue. The bible teaches us not to lie or commit adultery or fornicate. Most Aetheist take credit for living according to these rules as if they were born with this knowledge even though these teachings are explicitly Jesus's teachings and not the philosophy of Aetheist or human nature. Goodness is not inherent in every human being. Thats just a fact or there would be no reason for the law.

My question is what acts of goodness do you do or have you done that have not already been confirmed as 'good' by Jesus or the bible and if your acts of goodness were first confirmed by Jesus or the bible then why don't you give him or God credit for teaching you how to show love instead trying to discredit the bible?

Shouldn't you appreciate what jesus taught you and the world?

  • For the ladies...question about the origin of what you know about men?

I ask lots of women what is the best advice that their mother gave them about dealing with men and all to often that advice consists of a checklist of things to not allow him to do.....

    1. Never let a man do this or that

    2. Never depend on a man....

    etc

But when I ask what advice that she gave about how to keep a man, since not letting him do things isn't the answer, I find that most women were never trained from their mothers on what to do, which is why I think that most women are pretty clueless as to what it means to be a good wife or even girlfriend thus divorces have increased(just a theory). Have any women out there received any good advice from their mothers on how to treat men?

Do any single mothers teach their daughters to respect men?

  • Shouldn't the patriarchal society be saved?

The entire society that we live in is built by men. The home is most important unit of them all. All of the units outside of the home are there to drive the home. It was meant to work this way. As we change to a more feminized society the edges have begun crumbling very badly in the patriarchal society. My question is, when it finally comes apart what sort of society do women have to replace what has worked since the beginning of time? Does the average woman even think that far in advance? Wouldn't it just be better if we reworked the honour and nobility of the home as opposed to destroying it with no workable solution at hand?

  • Should it matter whether a woman was promiscuous....?

(Sexually liberated for the womens libbers) in her past? My opinion is that a past promiscuous women has a lack of sexual discipline. Certainly not the sort that I'd want to invest a relationship in.

And what would be considered promiscuous to me? Mainly lots of sexual partners and very few meaningful relationships.

    Is that an unfair assessment?
