Roughly, how many miles can you put on these fuel pumps before they start failing? I know this can vary greatly but what would be the average lifespan? Thanks.

I have...HAD a 2004 Yamaha R6 in great condition, she was my baby. I have a buddy who just got a 2009 Yamaha R6 2 months ago..nice bike. We went on a ride down to Newport Beach and then we decided to swap bikes for no more than a few minutes or so just so we could see the difference, if any. Not more than 3 minutes in to riding my buddy took my bike straight into a curb at about 45mph and totaled it. He got some nice road rash, but no broken bones. Now I'm out of a bike. Motorsports shop claims $12,000.00 to repair it back to the condition it was in prior to my friend crashing it. What should I do. Mind you I'm 22 and my buddy is 21. He didn't have insurance, and he has no cash saved up. HELP!!

I am not a scientologist, nor will I ever become one..however, my girlfriend is a scientologist. You would not believe how hard it is to keep this relationship humble. Her beliefs are so different compared to mine (I'm agnostic (believes in a higher power/god)/christian by default). We've been together for a year now, a very rocky one at that. I've done my fair share of research on scientology and I admit, there is not one piece of literature on the internet talking positively about scientology. The only things that I have psychically seen with my own eyes at an actual "scientology church" is that they try to do good...why is everyone down on them? Is it lack of education, or what?

So I'm currently an EMT with an ambulance company. I started my shift Sunday at 6pm and went till 7am Monday morning. I clocked out and went home to sleep, then at 10am my supervisor calls me and tells me to come in at 11am and work till 9pm. Since there was no 8 hour turn over, should those hours I worked (between 11am to 8pm) be double time?
