The Recycle bin icon has disappeared from the desktop...ive not deleted or moved it but cant seem to replace it either?

I tried making a shortcut from C: Recycler but the bin icon wasn't there.

Its happened on Windows XP.

Can anyone help me out please?

did anyone else see a orange light in the sky, it wasn't a plane as the light didnt flash & it was moving to fast. It was seen by 4 adults & 6 kids, so i know im not going mad!!!! The light then disappeared, if anyone saw this let me know as its baffled us????

Is it possible to re install xp using a usb stick, if thats possible then how do I get my recovery cd on to the stick???

Also the pc that needs the recovery is a compaq tablet TC1000 pc...I have tried everything else possible & this is the last option!

Any ideas anyone...anything would be usefull.

My daughter is nearly 6mths & for the last couple of days shes had all symptoms of hay fever..I dont know if babies can suffer from it at such a young age & the websites I have looked at are not that informative on ages!

She has a constant runny nose, really watery eyes & sneezing all the time. She is not ill in any other way, so I dont think its a cold but she is teething....although I know these are not typical with that!

Does anyone have or know of babies that have hay fever & what can be done to help them?

A few weeks ago (& no, im not mad!!) there was a large ring around the moon!!!!

It looked like it was a halo or something (yep, ur thinking im mad)...honest I saw it but have never een anything like it before & wondered if anyone else saw it?

I haven't lived at my mums house for 14 yrs now but I wont go round if my mum is out.

Even in my last house I felt an eerie atmosphere, my ex never felt anything but my son did as a young child...he would point to parts of the room & tell us there was a man there, he was scared of this man too. I would see shadows dart across rooms & items would go missing & turn up somewhere else, I also heard glass being smashed from inside the house but never found where it came from!!

We have since moved from that house & things are better now, odd things still happen but nothing too bad!

I believe there are ghosts all around us & sometimes they let us know there here.....

I have to say that I almost wish I had applied to BB this year, just so I could put Alex (im well ard) in her place....why is people feel the need to spout such nastiness to people who are clearly intimidated by them???

I mean, c'mon Alex..how flipping easy is it to pick on people that will shrink under that kind of verbal...I wonder if she is like that outside the house where she could possibly risk a good slap to those mouthy chops??? (hmmm)

To give people that "im better than you" opinion & tell em there simple & dickheads & my fav comment "your mum" was really muggy on Alex's part....she needs a reality check, she is only a mum from Croydon!

I use Revo uninstaller to remove programs as its better but when I looked in add & remove all the programs are still there!!

I have tried to remove them but because there no longer installed im getting a windows installer box telling me that I cant...I cant even just remove the program name?

I have tried registry programs like ccleaner, I have also removed the programs names & remaining files from the pc....so im stumped at wot to do next.....any ideas please?

I know I have a virus/malware or somthing but dunno where or wot it is!! Nothing is picking ot up...not Avg, Zonealarm scans, spybot or adaware...BUT I know there it is here somewhere!!

Pc is acting weird..pages looking different..cant acces certain things like help pages or do updates 4 certain programs!!!

The last few days my pc wont let me open any help pages..each time I try 2 open them an Internet explorer download pop up shows asking if I want to download a file, if I click ok it then shows a warning message saying that it cant be found..but if I click no then the page just closes!!!

I dont even use IE, I use Mozilla!! I think my pc has been infected with something but I cant figure out wot & where? Nothing is picked up on scans....oh & ctfmon keeps trying to read or modify my pc information??

Has anyone else had problems after creating a sign in seal?

I created one but when I logged back into Yahoo it had gone...so i created another but this time I couldnt log in to my account!!!

When I finaly managed to log in, I had 35 messages from people I dont know..& 24 others in spam!!!

I think I my have a hacker or something useing it...but I wondered if anyone else is having the same problems!!

Can anyone help me find an old friend, I have tried friends reunited, the phone book & registered with some search sites but nothing!!
