I've purchased an e-collar from the US, it comes with a 12V DC charger with an input of only 110V; I could buy a stepdown inverter but they are expensive compared to the price of a 12V charger (of which i have several lying around that may fit the unit).

It occurred to me that it may be possible to just use an Australian 12V DC charger which is already suitable for 240V input as the output is the same (12V)......would that work?

You all know the story we hear everyday about warming & rising oceans...but what if it's more simple?

What if the slow erosion of the mountains etc is simply filling the oceans up, this in turn covers more land which (because water doesn't fluctuate in temperatures as fast as air) in turn causes the earths temperature to be higher?

Could we have all been fed a load of BS or is it so simple that no one thinks it could be so simple?

as humans we would be the only species that no longer breeds in such a way as to produce a better adapted offspring. In fact it would seem the opposite. Deodorants are supposedly masking our ability to choose a mate who is most genetically different & people who would have otherwise perished are living to breed...

Where do you think this is going to take us, what will we look like in 20,000 years or longer (assuming we are still around)?

I'm upgrading my dinosaur PC (pent. III!) as I am getting satellite broadband. I work away for 2 weeks at a time, I usually use the work computer while I'm away.

I can't decide if I should get 1 larger laptop or get a small desktop for home & small laptop for work & kinda connect the info from the 2 somehow.

Is this at all feasible?

What kind of things would I need to do to hook up to the ethernet connection at work?

Suggested brands would be appreciated too.

This is mainly for vegetarians & vegans out there. I'm curious as to what you think are the acts of cruelty in a slaughter house. After all the actual killing is instant, so is it the herding into the pens, transportation or what?
