I'm a senior, and my prom is supposed to be this Saturday June 5th. My best friend and I aren't attending prom (for legitimate reasons), and instead we would like to do something memorable and fun together. SO far we have the idea of driving down to Laguna Beach and dining at an expensive restaurant on the ocean side. Personally, I'm seeking something much more thrilling and new (adrenaline seeker)... besides having a fancy dinner. But any of your inputs are welcome.

If it helps, we live in Southern California... Los Angeles to be precise. Our budget is around $200, and my friend drives.

my best friend of 12 years decided to not be friends with me anymore for unknown reasons beyond me. however, i'm moving out of state this summer and want to sort of clear the air with her beforehand. is it demeaning to text her and ask to get a cup of coffee or should i just clear my own conscious?

Do you think you can separate your emotions from sex? Have you ever been able to do it successfully?

Some guy was saying to me...

"Why do people require hard evidence to be able to believe in something. Like God is supposed to send you a message from the skies or something."

I'm so tired of responding to stupid statements like these.

Why/why not?

This is a serious question. Girls are always getting called sluts, whores, trashy, etc.

What kind of girl IS a whore?

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union."

Why is it important?

I'm arguing with a guy that I know. He doesn't like Jews, and I"m telling him he has no reason to hate anybody.

Now he's asking "tell me one good deed one of these billionaire jews have done"

What should I say?

I told some guy that he exactly what to say so he messaged me on myspace with the title being 'Riddle me this' and the body being:

"I always know what to say or you're always keeping your ears open to hear something you want to?"

What the heck do I say to this? Or what does he mean by it?

I mean, a real epiphany...not the Christian holiday.

An instance where the way you view the world(and yourself), is so fundamentally changed that you feel that a hundred pounds has been suddenly lifted off your back.

You find yourself smiling constantly, for no reason at all, when for your entire life you have been a textbook dour-*** sourpuss, seeing the bad in everything.

It is an amazing thing being able to see and think clearly.

It is not exactly rainbows & roses, more like ash and pitch. The feeling that some great burden is gone, comes from finally reaching the point of not giving a damn what people think anymore.

Has anyone else experienced this?

How do you know if the guy you're sleeping with is actually making love to you, or if he's just seeing you as a piece of booty?
