I read somewhere that if you're cold, clenching your fists can help increase your blood flow or something and helps warm you up a little. Is that true? Has anyone else heard of this?

I'm an 17 year old female, I'm 5'3" and I weigh 110 lbs. I tend to get cold very easily. Meaning hoodies and leggings and jeans if it's below 80 degrees. I'm not sure if it's because I am underweight or just from a warm place. Is that too low for my size and age?

I've lived in Florida all my life, and my parents tend to save money on air conditioning by keeping the temp in the house at about 78 or higher 8 months out of the year. But I tend to freeze if its 70 degrees or lower! My doctor has told me that my body has pretty much just gotten used to my hot house, and now considers 78 degrees the new "normal". Is he right?Is that why I get cold so easily? By the way, as I'm typing this I'm sitting at a library with a thick pullover and jeans and I'm still a bit cold!

Cute or no?

It was about 60' this morning when I woke up, but it felt soooooo much colder! I put on a heavy sweatshirt, jeans, and boots, and was still freezing. I was freezing all day today at school. Now its about 70' outside and I feel like I'm freezing to death. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Its pretty cold where I am right now (we get weird weather all the time) and I am working on this film project with my boyfriend. Well, the other day we were filming outside and it was about 31’ F (I told you it was cold). Anyway, we were standing around while the crew was getting the next scene set up when my boyfriend saw one of the actresses shivering. Now, this girl has been flirting with my boyfriend since the day they met, so I wasn’t comfortable with them talking to begin with. Anyway, he asked if she was cold, and she said she was freezing. I went over to them just so they weren’t alone, and hinted that I was cold too. But then, he takes off his jacket and gives it to the other girl. Right in front of me! Granted, I was wearing more clothes than she was, but only like one other jacket. What should I do here? Should I talk to him about it? I’m kind of scared to approach the subject. Any ideas on how I should if I should? Thanks.

Btw, its been like two days, and she hasn't given him the jacket back. And he's fine with it. He keeps saying, "if she still needs it, let her keep it"

I'm going on a first date with this guy I really like (and I think he really likes me). He's taking me out for a walk and then to lunch at a semi-casual restaurant. The only problem is I've been there (to the restaurant) a few times already, and its always freezing cold in there. Like, so cold to the point where I'm shivering and am covered in goosebumps every time I sit down. What should I wear? I want to look cute (obviously) and stay cool outside but warm inside. Any ideas?

Which would be warmer? I'm going on a school trip in a few weeks and its going to be extremely cold! So under mittens, would fingerless gloves or regular gloves be warmer?

An over-sized sweatshirt (like twice the size I normally wear) and black leggings? Ive been cold all day, that's why it sounds so warm.

I've been at this summer camp thing with this guy for a few weeks now and we've really see to hit it off. He's really cute, but shy, so I've initiated all the conversations. Today, he said that he definitely wanted to go out with me, but that he thought it might be weird because I reminded him so much of his ex-girlfriend. He said he was absolutely in love with her, but she broke up with him on the last day of school. What should I do here? He's really nice and cute and he obviously likes me. Should I say it wasn't weird or should I not go out with him?
