The brown jacket doesn't sound like it would match with the black and white. Maybe try a black one instead. For shoes, I suggest plain black pumps.

seems very simple and classic :) can't probably go wrong with that
you should wear shoes that you really like and make you feel comfortable! I love my converse but you should go with your personal style
