  • Authentic North Carolina BBQ?

I will be in Charlotte for a few days, and I am interested in finding the best authentic, hole-in-the-wall, east coast bbq experience. Pork, vinegar, cole slaw, mac & cheese, sweet tea.....all the goodness.

I have no problems with dives, greasy spoons, etc. as long as the staff knows what they are doing and the food is good.

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • The actual starting time of the Super Bowl this Sunday?

Easy 10 points - Since I planned my party a month ago, the game time has changed twice. I am in the central time zone, and I am trying to figure out how early guests should arrive.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Dining options in Orlando?

A group of us will be be staying in the Lake Buena Vista area for a conference, and we would love to know about some good local restaurants.

We would prefer a mom and pop Orlando original, not a national chain. Moderately priced to upscale fare is okay. Traditional steak and seafood cuisine would be optimal, but we are certainly open to other suggestions. We will have a rental car and are willing to travel a bit if the spot is worth the drive. The group will consist of about 6 folks just in case dining party size is an issue.

Thanks in advance for your help and guidance. Happy eating!

  • Suggestions for my super bowl nacho bar?

I have a super bowl party every year and my guests vote on the food theme. It looks like I will be having a nacho bar this year, so I would like to get some suggestions on some unique topping alternatives. The most creative and mouth-watering tip will get the points. Good luck and thank you in advance for your input!

PS - Obviously, I will be providing the basics - cheeses, jalapeno, sour cream, guacamole, etc., so please try to think outside of the box. -thanks!

  • Good Asian food in Houston?

I will be staying in the Galleria area this weekend, and my daughter and I would love to try a good Asian restaurant . It doesn't have to be a 5-star upscale establishment, as mom and pop, whole-in-the-wall dives are fine, too. However, it does need to be authentic, reasonably priced, and tastey (i.e. not one that serves enchiladas or mac & cheese on a buffet line). I know there are plenty of good options for Asian cuisine in Houston, but I want to know what some of the locals prefer. Thanks!

  • looking for fun in Houston.....?

I will be in Houston on business this weekend and will be taking my 6 yr old daughter. I have heard about the Aquarium downtown and Hermann Park Zoo. Which of these would you recommend for a fun afternoon? I am also open to other suggestions. (we will be staying central between 610 and 59) Thanks!

  • Can anyone recommend a good Chinese restaurant in the North Dallas area?

I will be staying off of Central Expressway in Richardson and was wondering if their were any good Chinese restaurants in the area. I don't mind driving a little out of the way as long as it is easily accessible from the expressway. Also, I would prefer a traditional sit-down restaurant as opposed to a fast food/take-out type place. Thanks for your help!

  • who can make me laugh with the best "yo mama" joke?

10 points to the one who makes me chuckle.

Example: You mother is so black that when she gets out of the car the check oil light comes on.

    Good luck!
